Default CibaSoft SoftColors Over The Sink?

The bathroom sink is a great place to work with your contacts. There's a mirror right there and the sink is there as well in case you drop a lens. However, there's always a danger of dropping one down the drain? What's the solution? This little sink strainer.

Now, someone on this site posted about this same thing, and someone replied that you can just put a paper towel over the drain. Do you think that's a good idea?

Hmm... So far, yes... Although I think having a lens catcher would be better. Towels might easily get some of the dirt or any other dirty bacteria in the sink. If your lens falls through it, it might get infected and make your eyes irritated. Clothes easily get bacterias right?

I'm not an expert in bacteriology, but it makes sense that a rough surface like a paper towel is capable of holding more bacteria that a smooth lens catcher, and the catcher is definitely easier to clean, (as many catchers are). Everyone reading this post should buy one of these things.

I have tried probably 6 different brands/types of lenses mostly disposable lenses and not one could measure up to the fit I get with CIBA softcolors. They last up to 1 year with proper care. I Love these lenses! They are hard to get a prescription for since they are not diposables and Doctors wont make as much money on them, so be persistant in asking for them. These lenses have been around since the late 80's which tells you something, quality lasts. Try these first if your looking to wear colored lenses

Can you name all the brands you've tried? You would be a good person to ask about all kind of different contacts, wouldn't you?

What's that got to do with losing your contacts down the drain?

Probably nothing, but sometimes it's easy to get lost navigating through all the categories and sub categories in Lens 101.

This sounds like a nice commercial, mathu. I'm not sure what it has to do with that sink strainer thing I started this thread with, but it was interesting to read.
