Default ClearSight 1 Day Toric Overtime

I know you're not supposed to wear these contact lenses after bed time, and I'm not saying that people should do that. I just know that people do. Have you? If so, what happened? Did something unpleasant cause you to vow you'd never, ever do that again?

I'm curious to see if anyone will own up and answer this question.

Well, no one so far, BigJim, but it hasn't really been that long. I think if a person has a problem with ClearSight 1 Day Toric lenses because they went to sleep with them in, they might be inclined to either warn others about the problems that wearing daily lenses overnight, or perhaps they may want to sign in here to complain loudly about those dumb lenses that glued their eyes shut overnight.

I'll own up. One night I completely forgot I was wearing them and fell asleep with them in. I've had a general rule not to do that ever, and it's the first time I ever slept with them in. I woke up and nothing terrible happened, I just took them out. No big deal! My eyes may have been a teeny bit irritated and I didn't wear contacts that day, but nothing disastrous happened.

Well, I'm glad that nothing disastrous happened. So are you tempted now to sleep in those lenses once in a while?

I hope not. It may lead to other unhealthy habits. Don't take chances with your eyes. Follow your doctor's instructions regarding contact lens wear. I'm sure they've seen the results of not following instructions.
