Hey, look what I found.
Someone posted a question about handling your contacts with tweezers, and I found this. It's a jar to keep your tweezers in. It kind of reminds me of that jar of blue stuff that barbers keep the combs in. Remember barbers? Guys with names like "Hank" and "Bud?" Anyway, if someone gave you this jar for Christmas with a pair of tweezers, would you use them? |

The lens material locks-in the moisture resulting in increased comfort throughout the day. 1-Day Acuvue give you a fresh start every day with a new, clean pair of lenses resulting in the healthiest and most convenient way to wear contact lenses. Each lens is precision crafted to provide exceptionally accurate vision and they are the only daily disposable lenses on the market with UV-Blocking.According to a new FDA approved claim, 1-DAY ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses worn on a daily disposable basis may provide "improved comfort" for patients with mild allergic discomfort and ocular itching.

Did you just say that you can keep your contact lenses in a jar with tweezers? Shouldn't you use one of those double-barreled storage case, like this one?

Yeah, I see what you mean, Spookytooth. It sounds like sanesh_bus is recommending that Lens 101 readers store their contacts in that tweezer jar.

How can a jar like that protect a pair of tweezers when it ha no lid cover?

Not that you actually should. But I think this kind of storage case is better thought.

If I'm not mistaken, the jar comes with a lid, even though it's not shown. Even if it doesn't have a lid I think the idea is to store the tweezers and not necessarily "protect" them. They'd be better off in a jar like this without a lid than they'd be in a "junk drawer."

I went to that site but I didn't find anything about tweezers. It didn't rectify anything for me.

Hey, what do you say we all talk about the same thing in this thread, okay? In this thread we're talking about those cool white plastic tweezers you see pictured at the top of this page. Can we just talk about those?
