What color contact lenses do you think would look good on me? pics

Hi Everyone i am new to the forum i have only ever had one pair of contact lenses and they were very bright! I dont even know what brand they are i just bought them from a keosk in the mall for new years lol
anyways here are some pics my natural eye color is first, a medium/light brown color.

Hi Bella. Welcome to Lens 101. Let me say that in any color, you have beautiful eyes.

If you want to try a different color, why not try green or gray? I think the gray would go nicely with your blonde hair.

If you want to do something different, how about a honey or a chestnut color? (Acuvue 2 Colours Opaque has a nice Chestnut color, seen below.) It would be similar to your naturally brown eyes, but not so different that people feel that your eyes are "fake."

I guess that was a little vague, but I hope you still found it helpful. Whatever you decide, I hope we can see more pictures in the future.

I think since you have blonde hair you will look great with light Green or light Blue. Freshlook Colorblend in Sterling Gray pr even freshlook colors in Blue will look great. Even Soloticas in Ice color goes great with blonde hair

I would agree with Cheezhed that gray would look good. Gray or a green.

i didn't really want to end up being blonde haired and blue eyed
i was thinking maybe a soft green but i dont know anything about brands and such. Also, i really don't want them to look too fake you know?

Well Blonde and blue eyes looks amazing but I know what u mean, well I love Soloticas, if you want natural thats the best way to go in my opinion. Like the natural color Mel or their Hidrocore Mel looks great, its green for sure. even their Quartzo color which is a Green Blue Gray. But Mel may be better since its more green. If you dont want to pay that much and want to see how you will look with greenish eye color go for Freshlook Colorblend in Gemstone Green

Welcome to Lens 101, Bella. I'm sorry I don't have any pictures of Soloticas, but a lot of people talk about them on this site. Strangely enough, very few of those people have posted pictures of the contact lenses they seem to like so much.

I agree with RawBob. The Green looks, well, green, but the "Gemstone Green" looks like a paler color.

I looked up "green gemstone" on Google and most of them were a dark green, like this garnet.

That's true. The Gemstone is a lighter green. I guess most people prefer a deeper green.

I love my Gemstones, havent posted the Gemstones(all my pics are from far away but will try to post one), but I did post Solotica NC Esmeralda, its green too. Its very bold green for clubbing and photoshoots it looks amazing. I also have the NC mel..sooooooo natural, will try to post the pic, my sister also has the NC mels. We both bought from the Bonanzle seller, i love mine. And my Mels are very very natural. The color Crystal just came out this month. I think they carry it but have not seen anyone wear it here. My Mels look so natural. I am going to buy more and post pics, I think they are a great investment in my looks

I am going to include:
1.Pic of me with FL Colorblend Hazel, still a fav
2.Freshlook Gemsyone (its far away I have no pics upclose)
3.Nc esmeralda

Soloticas are very nice looking contact lenses. I couldn't tell you how comfortable they are because I don't wear them. I do know that they can be expensive, though. I've seen them as high as $54 per lens, not per pair. Before you slap down that kind of money, why not check out the lenses at Lens.com? All you have to do is click on that red rectangle up there with the white oval and then look at the color contact lenses. I think you'll be glad you did.

Thank you so much for posting the pictures and for your suggestions! I do not wear a prescription so this would merely be for a change from my hazel/olive eyes. I did get the Halloween Cat eye lenses and it was hillarious- it wasn't weighted correctly and I ended up with goat eye- ha!

I love Contacts. They enhance ur image soo much. I now want the Glow in the Dark Manson lenses, they seem sooo cool

I agree Soloticas are expensive. I loVe Freshlook and still a huge fan of ColorBlend Hazel and gemstone Green for dark eyes. But Soloticas are also one of my Favs

I will try to post more pics as i buy more

U know I have to say as much as I enjoy freshlooks, My Esmeralda shows up sooo well at night specially with heavy black eyeliner. Just looks exotic

I wear it mostly at night. I am glad someone else likes it

hi everyone,

i was hoping to also get some feedback on what color lenses would look best on me. i have been trying to decide on my own for weeks, and i don't see it coming to an end.

originally i wanted to get a circle lens (and i still may in black), but i think for now i have narrowed it down to a few of the solotica lenses. i have hazel eyes now that can look fairly green (which you can see in the pics i have uploaded). i want a change to a very light icy blue something like megan fox, adriana lima or scarlett johansson. so, i am trying to decide between the:

hidrochor - grafites or ice
natural colors - grafite, ice or quartzo (i think topazio may be just a little too blue)

im a little concerned that the ice might be too vampireishly light and that quartzo may be too green on my eyes. as a side note i should let you know i have also been considering bleaching my hair to a very light yellow blond, but i think i might be too scared..

anyway, i would really appreciate hearing your opinions if you have anythank youuuu!

Ok I am in love with my Soloticas. If you want Megan Green eyes:
1.Esmeralda is nice, look at someof my pics posted but be ready for a color change. Its great for night time (I wear it clubbing

)
2. I have seen Grafites on my co-worker (we all buy from the same vendor), and it looks dark blue, doesnt look Green or even Gray..its blueish.
3.Quartzo looks fantastic but it didnt look green either, looks Gray Blue more but thats another lens that stands out a LOT. I dont mind that at all, with heavy make up it looks simply amazing and sexy. But it doesnt have that much green.

Now the same vendor just brought the new Soloticas in IceMint, you may want to look into that. Its new and suppose to be Blue Green. I think you cant go wrong with Esmeralda (more green) and Quartzo (gray Blue)

Let me join the others in saying that you're very beautiful. With that long dark hair it would be difficult to ruin your looks with the wrong color contact lenses.

Anyway, a lot of people seem to recommend Solotica lenses. They look nice, but they're kind of expensive. Worst of all, Lens.com does not sell them! I'd hate to send you to another site without at least letting you know about our sponsor.

They sell lenses that are very comparable to Solotica lenses, called Natural Touch Opaque. They come in Aqua Seas, Baby Blue, Hazel, Sophisticated Blue, Sultry Grey, and Willow Green. They're less expensive, too.

If you want a "light, icy blue" you may want to try the Baby Blue Natural Touch contacts. If you look around this site you will see that this is a very popular brand and color. As you can see it's a striking blue-grey color. I think they would look great on a brunette such as yourself. What do you think?

Not only that, but I heard that they're not available in the United Stated at any website. Try the Natural Touch Opaque lenses if you're in the US.

anyway, thank you to everyone for your feedback! i really appreciate all of your kind thoughts. and as a side note to type40 - don't worry i haven't bleached my hair, but i did get a blond wig! i am including a pic just for fun because i am not sure how often i will be wearing it out in public..

AND i also ordered soloticas!! i ended up going with grafite after much debate. in the end, i just started getting concerned because wrlens warns that the topaz and quartz look less natural because of the smaller pupil opening and because those two colors are more opaque than the rest of the natural colors. I am really hoping for a blue that will blend into my natural green/hazel rather than mask it.

i was hoping to also get some feedback on what color lenses would look best on me. i have been trying to decide on my own for weeks, and i don't see it coming to an end.

originally i wanted to get a circle lens (and i still may in black), but i think for now i have narrowed it down to a few of the solotica lenses. i have hazel eyes now that can look fairly green (which you can see in the pics i have uploaded). i want a change to a very light icy blue something like megan fox, adriana lima or scarlett johansson. so, i am trying to decide between the:

hidrochor - grafites or ice
natural colors - grafite, ice or quartzo (i think topazio may be just a little too blue)

im a little concerned that the ice might be too vampireishly light and that quartzo may be too green on my eyes. as a side note i should let you know i have also been considering bleaching my hair to a very light yellow blond, but i think i might be too scared..

anyway, i would really appreciate hearing your opinions if you have anythank youuuu!

Wow. I was scrolling down to the bottom of this thread when I saw your pictures, mandylove. Wow. You sure look nice. Pretty hair, pretty smile and of course, beautiful eyes. Thanks for posting those pictures.

One more thing. You mentioned it, so I'm going to comment. Your dark hair is gorgeous. I would not recommend changing it, but if you're really craving a change and think light yellow blonde might be fun, go for it, but me, I like your brunette hair.
