Default Adore C or Solotica?

Hi everyone,
Ok I am trying to get another colored contact lens, sticking to SOloticas and may be even Waicon. But I have seen posts on Adore C, they are cheaper than SOloticas, but I have not seen anyone around me wear it. Any one with advice on what they think of Adore C? What if I want a color that stands out on dark brown eyes?

I've been on this forum a long time, but I've never heard of Adore C. Is it something new?

I asked her how she even came up with that name, she said she saw it in Lens addict forum so i checked it out and observed that there was lots and lots of talk about Adore C! I researched and they exist in Italy! But no pics and no one around me wears it. I guess i am happy with Soloticas but Adore C is cheaper

I don't think adore c's are out yet. They have some videos on youtube and I read another lens forum too which talks about them. I just bought the adore bi-tone lenses in the honey color thinking they would be a hazelish but they were just too dark to show up for my very dark eyes and I was disappointed. I think Adore C will be better but so far solotica's have been the only ones that I'm happy with

So are Adore C contacts some kind of Top Secret Project that we're not supposed to know about?

Default Solotica or Adore C

Ok I just researched and found Adore C is from "eyemed technologies"....some raved about it. I wonder if anyone knows anything or have worn them.
I started with Freshlook and went to Solotica so I dont have experience with any other lens(except Acuvue and Expression colors)

Solotica's are only more expensive because they are yearly disposable. If I remember correctly, Adore's are usually monthly disposable.

ah thank god..ok I am going to lay off the Adore C lenses. I am super happy with Soloticas for now. Still curious to try the Crystal color that just came out.
I think I am addicted to these lenses. Wear them everyday now! Wonder if that is bad. I have 4 colors and want more!!

I went to the website that sells Solotica contact lenses and I found something interesting. Here is their description of Solotica Hidrocharme lenses: "HIDROCHARME lenses are for cosmetic use (no need for number) and also for correction of myopia (short-sightedness) and long-sightedness (with a number)."

This is not a very well-written description. I guess when they say "number" they mean "prescription" and you ALWAYS need a prescription when you wear any kind of contact lenses. You may not need correction, but you will still need to know what base curve and diameter to order.

I'm glad you like your contacts, loveme, but I'm not sure they know what they're doing over there.
If you run into a problem, I hope they can help you. In any case, Lens 101 will be here for you if you need us.

So I take it you do not live in Italy?

I found some contact lenses on Lens.com that I think look as nice as Adore C contacts, if not more so. They're probably cheaper, too. Check them out. They're called Durasoft 3 Colors/Opaque colored contact lenses.

Here's the page where you can find Durasoft 3 Colors (D3*OP). I think the "OP" means "Opaque."

You're right, loveme. I don't see any pictures at that link either, but that's a good place to order Durasoft 3 Colors contact lenses. Here's a picture of the contacts that I found, but they're not photographs taken by a camera; they're very detailed drawings, though.

How about Natural Touch contact lenses? I bet they're pretty competitively priced, and look just as good.

So do I understand that FreshLook contacts are your favorite, since you mentioned them first?

Default SOloticas win as far as color

Freshlooks dont come close to Soloticas as far as being natural but as far as price and convenience, Freshlooks win.

So is price more important to you, or a natural look? I think most people would prefer to save a few bucks/Pounds/Yen/Francs/Euros on their contact lenses, even if they're not the most realistic looking ones in the market.
