Red face bausch and lomb Platinum - Pics

Hey everyone Just thought I'd give some pics for bausch and lomb Grey color lenses. My eyes are tar colored hahaha seriously they are the deepest brown ever.
Anywho here they are. PS to be honest I didnt find them very comfortable in comparison to my freshlooks. I really like the dot pattern as they are alot closer together than other brands but they down right hurt ... so I dont know if I will be going back to freshlooks.
Hopefully they will help you guys out.

Thanks for the pictures. I like the one where we can see your face. You look like a rock star! The contacts look great, but to be honest I'm not crazy about the dark "spokes" coming out from the center. That makes them look a bit fake, but the overall look is quite pleasing.

Thanks for your thoughts on it. Yay rock star if only I got paid like one (dreams ahh) hehe. Yea I totally agree about the VERY thick lines coming out from the center. Although I really like the bold color of B&L they are soooo not comfortable. I hardly wore them because of that. I'm back onto colourblends. They are so much softer. I've jsut purchase Turquoise for the first time. Will be putting a thread on those shortly.

Hello there, IluvRick. How's Rick?

I have to agree with NYGiants that you look really nice in that picture where we can see your face and not just your eyes. It's a dramatic pose and I like it.

How are the B & L lenses not comfortable? Are they stiff, or itchy, or what? At least the ColorBlends feel better. I'm looking forward to seeing those Turquoise lenses. Don't keep us waiting too long.

Hi IluvRick. thanks for posting the pictures. What brand of contacts are these? I know they're not FreshLooks and that they're some of Bausch & Lomb, but that's not a brand name. Which Bauch and Lomb contacts are they?
Too bad they're not very comfortable for you. Have you told your eye doctor about this? Maybe you can try a different size or a new brand of contact lens cleaner or something. Let us know if you find a way to make them comfortable, okay?

Hi everyone, these are the B&L Platinum (color) Naturals. Hope that helps a bit more. I have tried different cleaners but I think it's the simple fact that the Base curve is 8.7 and my eye carries a 8.4 base curve so I think this is why they feel uncomfortable. The feeling is like if there is an eyelash in my eyes. That "something there" feeling. I wont be buying these again. They were too expensive for me at least and not worth it if I couldnt stand them in my eyes. Also they dried my eyes out whereas my Freshlooks feel goo up to 8hours of wear.

I JUST bought another freshlook pair in turquoise and the thread is now up (thread--- http://www.lens101.com/color-contact-lenses/121729-freshlook-turquoise-pics.html#post150494_ I like these better as they dont give me a bug-eyed look haha.

I did a search but didn't find any "B& L Naturals." Can you post a picture of the box? If you can't take the picture yourself, maybe you'll have better luck than I did finding a picture on line.

Oh, so they're called "Natural Colors." No wonder Eldradmustlive had such a hard time finding them. So are you going back to FreshLook Colors contacts since the Natural Colors have let you down?

Default Yea, sorry about that. I have

a habit of shortening things. Yes, I dont think I'll be using B&L again... it was just a waste of money. (for me at least)
Here are the Turquoise ones I just got from freshlook --> http://www.lens101.com/color-contact-lenses/121729-freshlook-turquoise-pics.html

And they werent as expensive(which is a plus as far as I'm concerned )

Wow, you're not kidding; you've got really dark brown eyes. Has that caused any problems with color contacts in the past? The contacts you're modeling here cover the brown very nicely. Those are the Natural Colors, right?

I also tried bausch & lomb platinum and find them very uncomfortable. I like the colour though. They completely cover my brown eyes. What brand do you reccomend for colour and comfort in one?

Hi andry402005. From Cypress, I see. We welcome you. What do you mean when you say that Platinum is "uncomfortable"? Are you still talking about Natural Colors contacts? What do you mean by "uncomfortable"? Do they feel dry, itchy, do they burn or what?

I'm talking about Bausch & Lomb softlens (platinum) colour. They make my eyes very dry and itchy and blur vision. Shame because I liked the colour more than wicons trikolor I used to wear, but never had these problems before.

Maybe a nice golden or honey brown would look good on IluvRick.

How is Rick, by the way?

Yeah the blue contact lens looks really nice, except it's in IluvRick's right eye. Our left her right.

Her natural eye color is really dark, isn't it? I can't even see her pupil.

I was wondering if you could post a photo of the lenses in a lens case. My friend gave me a pair earlier this year and Ive been trying to figure out what they are ever sense and I think they might be Bausch and Lamb Platinum. The lenses I had were very bright and beauitful and covered my brown eyes well like yours but they were uncomfortable after a couple hours.

Hi gabykhaos. Nice picture. Is that you in the black sweater and the grey eyes?

Secondly, who are you asking about "lenses in a lens case?"

Finally, let me get this straight. You're wearing someone else's contact lenses without a prescription?

I like how those lenses contrast with the black sweater and your dark hair. However, like HVAC, I'm concerned about where you got those lenses from. You said your friend gave you a pair. You really should get a prescription and wear your own contact lenses. Your eyes won't drop out of you head if you wear contact lenses that don't fit properly, but they won't be as comfortable and may irritate your eyes, and really, who need that?

Thanks, Elaine. I hope gabykhaos got the message.
