Default Non-Caucasian Color Contact Lenses

What do you think about Asians and African-Americans who wear blue and green contacts?

It's not a natural look, so what do you think? Does it make them look exotic and mysterious or phony-baloney?

I'm talking about men and women, here, by the way.

Well I do live in Asia, and the contact lenses here are quite common.
The teenagers goes for really explosive unreal colors & styles.
as blue, violet, then doll-eye, big eye, crazy lens, etc...

But the winner are the adults with soft colors as the hazel, grey and green.
You may see blue but it will be Elegance or Natural touch.
Hope it helps

Welcome to Lens 101, batabidd. So you are actually reading this in Asia? Has Lens 101 gone international?

Great post. If teenagers wear violet and "doll-eye" contacts, then I suppose blue or green doesn't raise too many eyebrows.

What do you think about the adults you mentioned with the Elegance and Natural Touch contacts? Do they look good? Do you mean "winner" in a good way?

Nice to hear from you. Thank you for answering.

Question non-causasian color contact lenses

This is my first post and I am half native american (Ho Chunk Winnebago from Wisconsin), and half caucasian so I have been known to resemble asian, mexican or Iranian ancestry and have worn saphire blue soft contacts in the past. Unfortunately with our dark brown eyes the blues do not show up as well as with someone with lighter eyes but I still like the "exotic" effect it has nonetheless. I have considered trying green contacts except that greens and yellows do not always favorably accentuate our olive/gold skin tones.
I hereby pose a query to the community: Since my disposable two week soft blue contacts have run out, what brand(s) do you recommend I replenish my color contacts with and would you recommend daily or 1 to 2 week or monthly soft lenses? Keep in mind please that when I do wear them it is usually not for more than a few hours to half a day at a time. Thanks for any suggestions you can provide.

You welcome! :P
Yep, when I say winner I say it in the nicest way.
Adult asian want to look natural, to enhace their dark eyes, giving a soft chic look with green gray or hazel.
I actualy seen in 8 months only an asian girl, I think japanese, raising the 30's with elegance or natural touch, that i particullary love as they are the most natural lenses in the market. She had a lovely blue and she looked stunning actually.
I do love that mark, pity I cant find them here in Thailand.

Thank you for providing us with your unique perspective on colored contact lenses. I'm afraid I don't know enough about Color Contact Lenses to recommend a brand, but I'm learning a lot here on Lens 101. Have you chosen a brand to try anyway, even though no one here has given you any feedback at this point?

At this late time I am compelled to endeavor a trial and error approach, so
nothing comes without a little risk I reckon!
