Default CL tinters COLORTONES in dark brown

Dear people,

I finally found a brown color lens that covered my entire eye.
CL tinters Images in dark brown.
It also looks natural and feels comfortable.
But it is to big.
It comes in bc 8.6 with a diameter of 14.2

The same brand in Colortones has a dark brown as well.
It comes in 8.7 and has a diameter of 14.4.
So now my question is: is this kind of color lens also big?
Is is natural looking and comfortable?

I have an eye prescription of 8.7 and 14.4 so that should be alright.
But it still sucks that the Images were so big

Is it possible to wear all kind of 8.7 and 14.4 lenses of all brands? Or should i just buy them (only found on internet) and show them to the opticien/eye doctor. Or might that be weird cause i bought them from the internet, the opticien will probaly say i shouldn't buy them on the internet.

The answer I'd give to your question is "probably." If your eye doctor measures you and determines that you need contact lenses with a diameter of 14.4 and a base curve of 8.7, that's going to apply for most lenses, but not all. That's why you should see your eye doctor when you buy contacts on line to make sure they fit properly.

Of course, some eye doctors will tell you not to buy your contacts on line because that's competition. Good doctors though, will do what's best for their patients, even if it means they lose a sale. I doubt they're going to have to sell their house if you don't buy contact lenses from them.

That being said, check out www.lens.com. They have a lot of different kinds of contact lenses at very reasonable prices.

I'm afraid I've never heard of colortone lenses, but when you send them your prescription for an 8.7 base curve and a 14.4 diameter, that's what you're going to get, and it'd reasonable to expect that they're going to fit you. I can't guarantee that, but there's no real reason to doubt. If their parameters match your prescription, though should fit. If they still don't fit, you may have to have your eyes measured by a different doctor.

Contact lenses fit differently depending on what brand you buy. If your eye doctor gives you a prescription with an 8.7 base curve and a 14.4 diameter, it's reasonable to expect all contact lenses with those parameters will fit, but it's not a guarantee.

A reputable contact lens company such as Lens.com will receive your prescription and then call your eye doctor to confirm it. Once that's done, you will get your contacts. However, your eye doctor may refuse to give the confirmation, and you're stuck with getting your contacts from him or her. Then, of course, you need to decide if you want to see an optician who will cooperate with your wishes.

In the Netherlands that's not how it works. You get lenses online without sending them a prescription. You can even get lenses without prescription from the opticians :O

I've heard that in some European countries it's not necessary to get a prescription for contact lenses. Here in the United States it's required though. Lens.com is an American company, so I wonder how they handle orders from European customers who don't have prescriptions?

Would you be willing to buy your contacts from the States and buy your contacts from our beloved sponsor?
I see the place where you get your contacts from now has an "nl" extension. Does that means they're in the Netherlands?

Cool. So maybe you'd like to try Lens.com. I know that have good lenses, and the prices are pretty competitive, I'm just not sure how well the deliver to foreign countries.

Pardon my while I stand on this chair.

Do we have any non-US Lens.com customers in the house?
