Default Nice Color

I like those blue lenses. They're a nice color. They not only look natural, but they cover the brown well, too.

Oh, I don't know. They look pretty convincing to me. What about them looks fake? Are they too dark or something?

What about vial contacts? Here's a whole list of `em: http://www.lens.com/contact-lenses/department101.asp

Some of those lenses are fifty bucks each. They'd better look good!

When you ask a question that contains the word "best," quite often the answer is "It depends on whom you ask."

If you ask me, the best lenses for dark eyes are either those expensive vial lenses, or you should go for the ones that have the word "opaque" in the name: "Acuvue 2 Colours - Opaques."

Default Blue Contact Lenses for Dark Eyes

I actally found a website called "bluecontactlenses.org." They had some good information about wearing blue contacts on dark eyes, but no specific brands were mentioned. All they said was to use "opaque" lenses. There are a couple of colored contact lenses that have the word "opaque" right in the name. Acuvue 2 Colours - Opaques and "Natural Touch Opaque (Elegance Opaque)."
When I looked up the word "opaque" on Lens.com, the above lenses were mentioned, along with Acuvue 2, Acuvue 2 Colours - Enhancers (which I thought were the opposite of opaque lenses), Durasoft 2 Optifit Toric - Colors and FreshLook Colors.

So, something in a little lighter shade of blue?

With a flash they look too bright. Nobody's eyes are that blue naturally.

Another vote for opaque lenses. Are you getting this down, legacy?

That's true, but I doubt if legacy is going to be in such bright light all the time. Camera flashes can be very bright, but they only last a split second.

You're right, Goliath. Those contact lenses should not be judged by how they look in the glaring light of a camera flash.
