Default Need help finding a very Vibrant purple/violet for dark eyes.Trucolour Elite?

Has anyone ever heard of these lenses??? By the picture, it looks like a really serious purple.. but i havent seen them taken on anyone before.... Im going for an eyeexam tomorrow for the strength, then from there, i wanna order a pair.... I have dark brown eyes and i dont want something thatll barely be a noticible difference.... im looking for a vibrant color change to purple..... any suggestions?? Im not looking for freakshow eyes either lol.. just an exotic color

Keep in mind, im probably gonna have a + perscription number and im not sure why, but half the companys only sell - ..... trucolour does sell their colors in a + which im gonna need.... any help would be appreciated for tomorrow! pics are wonderful!

    thanks!

Hi Joe. Welcome to Lens 101.

I really don't know what you consider "serious" purple, so I'll let you look for yourself. I went to Lens.com and searched for "violet" and got 18 matches. Most of them are vial lenses, which last a year and can get pretty expensive. There are others though, like FreshLook ColorBlends and FreshLook Colors that are more reasonably priced. Take a look and see what you think: http://www.lens.com/view/violet.asp

Awesome! Did you buy them from the site that NYGiants gave you a link to?

I am guessing that we will never see a pic of boosted87stangs violet circle contact lenses. I was actually kinda interested to see what this color really looks like on a real human being. Anyone else out there wear these? (yeah, sure, right--not) Oh, well!

I have been using these lenses for several years. Love them. I get compliments on my eyes every day and I am 74 years old. The color is a light lavender but very striking. My problem is they are very hard to find now. They used to be everywhere but no longer. If you or anyone, has suggestions on where to get them other than the Mexico sites I would love that information. They used to be $9.99 per vial (one lens) but Mexico wants $90.00 for 2 plus $70.00 shipping. By the way my natural eye is dark brown. I am also a + prescription.

    Your Welcome
    Dee
