Default cotacts for color and vision?

I am thinking that contact lenses may be the go at the moment because my eight month old daughter keeps attacking my glasses! I also would like to know if i can get vision contacts that also are colored lenses to make my eyes look nice or stand out? I dont know exactly what you would call my color eyes, they used to be dark brown as a child but have lightened up a great deal. Here are some pics for ideas thanks. If I dont make much sense i am sorry this is my first time on this site

I'm just mad about Saphronn
Saphronn's mad about me
I'm just mad about Saphronn
She's just mad about me

They call me mellow yellow
(Quite rightly)

Sorry. Had to do it. You kind of expected that though, didn't you?
Or are you too young to remember "Mellow Yellow"?

Well, talk about "up close and personal." It's a good thing you've got smooth skin, Saphronn.
Can you get lenses that correct your vision and color your eyes? Sure. There are lots of choices. The best thing for you to do is to talk to your eye doctor about getting contacts. For your first pair I'd recommend daily disposables. You put them in in the morning and throw them away that night. They're very thin and comfortable, and affordable, too. The only color Daily Disposable Contact Lenses that I know of are Focus Dailies SoftColors. They come in Blue, Green, Grey and Pure Hazel. You can find out more about those here: http://www.lens.com/contact-lenses/lens423.asp
Your eyes look hazel to me, Saphronn. How would you like to be a green-eyed beauty?
Not bad for your first post. I hope to hear more from you in the future. Welcome to Lens 101.

Nice of you to quote a song from 40 years ago, Nichobec. I thought of the same song when I read the screen name as well.

Saphronn, I would agree with Nicobec's plan to get some daily disposable lenses in Green. It would make a nice change to your hazel eyes, and would go good with your skin tone and hair color. What do you say?

Woah! Big pictures!

I'm anxious to see what your new contacts look like, but maybe some smaller pictures would be in order.

Thanks guys i have been told that my eyes are amber? Saphronn is just my screen name lol and yes I know and love the song. I have always liked green eyes so maybe I will try green. They are more yellow than anything and it depends on what color eye shadow I use as to what color they look. The person who told me they were amber is a professional artist who specialises in 'eyes' lol. but I think green would be nice

Good. If you don't already have a place to buy your contact lenses from, you can just click on the big red box up there that says "lens.com." They have really good prices on Focus Dailies SoftColors. Make sure you have your prescription handy.

I'm looking forward to those pictures of you with your new green eyes, Saphronn.

Good, I'm glad you recognized the song. You'll noticed I changed the spelling a little bit. Pretty clever, huh?

Okay, I'll stop congratulating myself and tell you I'm looking forward to those pictures of you with your green contacts in place. Can you make them a little smaller though? I just want to see your face without scrolling up and down, you know?

I think green would be nice also. I'm anxious to see some pictures, and I hope you're willing to post some more.
