Hello everyone!
First off, this is my very first post on this forum which I have been reading for quite a long time now, and I wanted to thank all of you for being such a good source of information about contact lenses! This being said, there is still one question I could not find an answer to... I have rather bright blue eyes, that look just about like this: see attached picture 01 (the big eye on its own). I like the colour, but find they lack a bit of light and definition... ![]() So I have tried quite a few different brands and models of Color Contact Lenses over the years: Freshlook Dimension Pacific Blue, which I didn't like as they made me look like I came from Arrakis... (picture 02... (with the black cloak)) and a few others which looked fake to me, either by their color or their visible printed pattern... ![]() This was until I found Moonlight Radiance by Freshlook (picture 03 (the tiny one)). These lenses were just fantastic! ![]() Why were they so great? - Because they did not have any color, so no risk of fake-looking tint, - They defined the eye perfectly with a natural-looking dark ring around the iris, going fainter towards the pupil. So the lens was mainly transparant, leaving your natural eye color totally visible. - They gave the pupil a very tiny bit of pearly reflections that gave light to the eye and made it stand out slightly. However, they discontinued this product, and now I'm back to looking for something that suits me again! ![]() And this is why I need your help ![]() I am looking for some contact lenses that would look natural enough to be worn everyday - so this excludes anything too blatant, or patterns that would be too visible, which would clearly be inappropriate for the hospital I work at -, that would fit bright blue eyes -so nothing to opaque- and give them some definition -with a dark outer part- I know I'm choosey ![]() Has anyone in my situation found something that suited her/him? I saw a message, months ago, asking if anyone had found something to replace the radiance lenses, but all I got from that was that Freshlook advised their customers to try their Colorblends serie... However, they don't seem to have the same characteristics at all... What do you think about it? I like the transparance enhancers have, but they lack the outer-ring... The Allure (Equinox) lenses look good in the sense that they seem pretty natural, but I have not been able to find any picture of anyone actually wearing them, on the internet... (I will certainly miss the depth the Radiance ones used to give ) - Has anyone ever tried them?I have also been thinking about the Caribbean Aqua - Dimensions by Freshlook, I have seen a few pictures of them over blue eyes and I kinda liked the result (04 - the last one, with natural eye on the left (her right) and Caribbean Aqua on the right)), but my last attempt at Dimensions, with the Pacific Blue tint put me off a little - if anyone has ever tried them, how natural do they look from close up? And if anyone has any other idea... Unfortunately, I can only afford one pair of lenses for now, so I will have to make my mind up at some point ![]() Thank you for reading and for any suggestion! ![]() |

I can certainly understand your desire to have contact lenses that look realistic. I wish I had a big case full of lenses I could let you examine, but I don't. The best I an do is to suggest you check out the lenses offered at Lens.com. They don't have any pictures that I know of with lenses on actual people, but they do have pictures of all their lenses, and if you find something you like, you can then search on line for a picture of someone wearing them. You may want to give Vial Contact Lenses a try. They can be expensive, but they sure look nice, and one pair can last for a year if you're careful. Check them out. http://www.lens.com/contact-lenses/department101.asp |

Woaw, thank you for this very quick response
![]() Vial ones look really good, but they are not really within my budget range at the moment - Thanks for the info tho ![]() I've spent litteraly days browsing every possible color lens... and I think I might settle for the Dimension - Caribbean Aqua by FL. But it is quite hard to find a close-up picture with a good enough definition to actually tell what it really looks like... So if you or anyone had any good or bad experience with these lenses, I'd love to hear the story ![]() Else, I'll probably order them next week... and will let you know what I think about them - possibly with some picture ![]() Thanks again for your help ![]() Hope to hear a few FL Dimensions stories by the time I place my order ![]() |

Oh brilliant! Thanks a ton!
No matter what I try, Google never comes up with this kind picture! ![]() It doesn't look too visible - and I assume it should be even more subtle if the lens and the eye are about the same tint... Alright, I'll get them, then ![]() And I'll let you know ![]() Thank you all ![]() |
