Default TrinityGrace's Colored Contacts Collection (With Pics!)

I have always loved colored contacts. I have dark brown eyes and love my eyes, but sometimes I get bored with dark brown so I like to change it up a bit. Below are pics of all of the colored contacts I have ever worn. I will write the brand name and color above them. I will first post my natural color and then feature the contacts :-) Please leave comments on any of them you like the best!

My natural eyes - dark brown

Me with my first colored contacts - Freshlooks Colorblends in Blue (I really liked these!)

In my next contacts - Expressions in Green

Freshlooks Colorblends in Hazel

Freshlooks Colorblends in Sterling Grey

Solotica Natural Colors Topaz (Loved the color but the most uncomfortable contacts I've ever worn!!)

The contacts I have now - Freshlooks Colors in Blue (These are just samples and say SAMPLE on them)

The contacts I'm getting next for a more natural look, more comfortable wear and overall better coverage - Illusions in Soft Blue

Hope you enjoyed this thread!

It looks like you have a few different hairstyles to go with your contacts, Trinitygrace. Thanks for sharing all of those pictures. You're just the kind of person that Lens 101 is looking for. Someone who likes to experiment with contact lenses and who likes to post pictures.
So what do your friends think? Is there one color that seems to be the most popular?

Almost all of my friends like the first color blue the best- the dark blue. I like that also, as well as the green.

I just ordered my Illusions yesterday from lens.com. They are awaiting my Rx. I'm going to call and have my eye doctor fax the Rx to them to speed things up.

It was very easy and fast to order from the website :-)

Awesome. We got a lot of people who post on the forum, but not very many log on to tell us they ordered from Lens.com. I'm glad your experience has been fast and easy so far. How do you like the prices? Do you think they're fair?

I'd also like you to tell us what you think about the speed of delivery and the condition of the lenses when you get them. A real-time review of Lens.com. I can hardly wait!

I haven't received my lenses yet because since they are vial lenses, they have to be ordered directly from the manufacturer and that will take about a month. I can expect to receive them by the end of February. I was a little let down because I wanted to have them by now, but I learned this is for everyone who orders vial contacts.

Customer service both on the phone and by e-mail was great. Very nice and prompt responses back.

The prices of the Illusions Soft blue contacts were $54.99 on lens.com. At Walmart (where I normally order my contacts) they were twice that - about 100 a lens.

I'm definitely getting a great deal and will be sure to post pics when I finally receive them!

Awesome. Lens.com beat Wal-Mart's price!

I'm looking forward to reading what you have to say about your new contact lenses. Hopefully it won't really take until the end of February.

Guiness - It's March 6 and I've yet to receive them. I am supposed to receive them by March 9. They are being shipped out tomorrow. *Crossing fingers*

I've got my fingers crossed, too. The more the merrier, right?

It's the 17th now. Have you got your lenses yet? I hope you're planning on posting more pictures.

As of the 19th, no I have no received my lenses and I'm pretty upset about it. It's not lens.com's fault but CibaVision. I ordered them on Jan. 24. It shouldn't take two months to receive lenses! Grrr. If I don't receive them by April, I'm canceling my order. This is ridiculous!

You're right, two months is way too long to wait for your contact lenses. Generally--as long as you're not ordering from outside the United States--you should get them in a week or ten days, or so I've heard. Maybe you need to contact customer service and ask them where your lenses are. Did Lens.com contact you and tell you that they were having trouble getting the lenses from CibaVision or something?

Yes I've contacted customer service on several occasions. Theyve always been great at promptly replying back. Apparently there was a labeling error with the vial lenses and that's what is causing the delay. They are now saying the earliest they will be receiving then is Mar 23

So then by the time they get to you, it will be April. Guinness was hoping you would get your contacts by the end of February. That's too bad. Especially since you ordered from the sponsor if this forum.
How do you feel about Lens.com? Do you think that this is just a fluke and you'll order from them again?
