Default FreshLook ColorBlends Toric

I wanted to change my eye color but I have astigmatism. I wear accuvue oasys for astigmatism and just started wearing FreshLook ColorBlends Toric Green. Before buying the FL CB Toric, I enjoyed the trial pair of lens. They were fairly comfortable and the color looked great with my natural dark eye color. I hoped that the colored toric lens would make me even happier with corrected vision and a new eye color but for some reason they look kind of odd. The lens in my right eye looks ok, although not as comfortable as the trial pair while the lens in my left eye shifts when I blink and doesn't seem to line up on my pupil. When I look at myself straight on,why does one eye look fine while the left pupil seem to veer to the side a little. lol I'm wondering if i'm making a big deal of nothing. Maybe I'll get used to the fit, lol . I don't know both of my lens have an axis of 180, median BC, Dia 14.5. The left eye power is -2.75 Diameter and -1.75 cyl. Right eye is -3.00 Dia and -1.25 cyl. Could it be that the different scripts for each eye make the actually look differently??? I don't know guys. Help shed some light.

Hi michienycstyle.

Do your friends tell you that your contacts are cock-eyed? It may be just your imagination, or it may be that you got a bad trial pair. Did you get another trial pair and compare them?

Hi There, No they don't say They look cockeyed but to me they are not as comfy as I believe they should be, you know. I am wondering if I can wear non-toric lens with the prescription i have. They may feel better. I actually enjoyed the trial pair more than my prescription lens. I wonder if its beacuse they are toric lens

That may be. Toric lenses have a ballast weight in them to keep them from turning on your eyes. The weighted part is a little thicker than the rest of the lens, so that might account for your discomfort.

Thank You for this input. I am starting to leave well enough alone. The more I wear the FreshLook ColorBlends Toric I am beginning to get used to the feel. I wish they were a little more realistic looking, up close but then again I don't have to have people up in my face lol. Thanks Niner for that diagram

I'm glad Niner could help you. That's a very colorful toric lens up there.

You're right, too michienycstyle. As long as people have to get "up in your face" to see how "fake" your contact lenses look, you will probably look fine.
