Default contacts for nat. blue eyes

I have drab blue eyes what color contacts would look good on me. I tried the silver fleck type but I couldn't tell any difference. Would love to lighten them up and make them pop. Any help would be appreciated

Have you looked around this site? It has grown recently and has quite a few pictured of real people wearing their contact lenses. Maybe after you look around you'll have a better idea of what you're looking for. Some of the really nice lenses are in the vial section: http://www.lens101.com/vial-contact-lenses.html

How about a light blue? Are your eyes medium or dark blue now?

I have light eyes myself, and I find it hard to find other people wearing contact with eyes as pale as me- often when I get the lenses, they look completely different on me than others.

FreshLook Radiance have worked well for me- they have a soft limbal ring, and a middle that has a "shimmer", rather than a solid color. I've found what looks natural on dark eyes (especially Allure, and circle lens) looks cartoonish on me.

Another factor is your iris size- if you have an extremely big or small iris, this can dramatically affect how lenses will look on you (I mention this because I have a very small iris, and this means I often have a white gap between the limbal ring on lenses and my own iris showing underneath).

Are you wanting to go darker, lighter, or just different?

How about some kind of green lenses? Maybe an emerald green. How does that sound?

Acuvue 2 Colours - Enhancers offers a nice Emerald Green, but being enhancers they may not blend with your blue eyes--but they might look great, too. Find out more here: http://www.lens.com/contact-lenses/lens388.asp
