You should try Durasoft 3 Colors Optifit Torics and Durasoft 3 Optifit Colorblends which are the non-disposable versions of Freshlook contacts, which come in very high prescriptions of far-nearsightedness and astigmatism. They're very expensive but worth!

Thanks for the advice.
I will ask my eye doc to see if Durasoft 3 Colors Optifit is right for me. I was thinking of asking about the FreshLook ColorBlends Toric. My friend sometimes wears the FreshLook ColorBlends (non Toric one) and they look nice on her, very natural. Anyone know if the Toric version colors are as nice as the regular FreshLook ColorBlends? |
|

|
hi!
yes they toric freshlooks are the same as the normal ones, but they only make them in low prescriptions (i think only up to -2.00 of astigmatism) and they dont cover all axis, but Durasoft 3 Colorblends Optifit Torics are the same lens, same pattern, made by the same company and cover all astigmatism amounts in all axes, the only difference is that this is a non-disposable lens, it's soft conventional (they last from 1 to 2 years with proper care).I always wear conventional lenses, they're better in my opinion. |

I wear freshlook colorblend torics in blue. I have -2.75 in each eye and an axis of 170 and 180... yes I was looking at my boxes. Here is a pic of me with them in. I am half thai and my eyes are dark brown. I am going to try to get violet next (but freshlook torics do not come in that color)... so i will try another brand.

Thanks Blaze. I wish they were a little bit brighter though! I am going to see If my doctor at Lens Crafters (appointment sunday!) can get me Durasoft 3 Toric in violet (not colorblends)... I dont want a mix of color but moreso just a darker shade of purple/violet.

They are just the same, i wear both of them, but i don't really think freshlook colorblends are as natural as Expressions, but so far Freshlook is the only option for Toric contacts with Color

So it's about nine months since you posted this. Have got gotten some new contacts? Did you post pictures? We love pictures.

Thanks for the info, I will look into it, but are the comfortable? because Toric contacts are usually thicker which make your eyes very tired, I have only used Freshlook Toric colorblends and I can't wear them for more than 3 or 4 hours, they are super thick, the color is way darker than the regular freshlook non toric. Thank you

Thanks for the picture. You're very pretty too. I think you'd look great with green eyes. Not at all zombie-like, as you said before. I hope to see more pictures soon when you get your contacts.

That's a great picture. Blue background, and you're looking off to the side. I can't wait to see more pictures.

That is a really nice picture, but its hard to see the color of your eyes. If you plan on putting up some more pictures, Deevine 1217, maybe we can get a closer look at those peepers. What do you say?

Still, as a "veteran" myself at 40+ years of age, I liked their rendition of "Sweet Child O' Mine." Not quite "classic rock" but at least I recognized it. The kids are all right. Oh, right. I'm showing my age again. ![]() Take a bow, children. |

As delightful as the Black Eyed Peas may be, I wanted to get back to the thread topic for a bit. Finding color toric lenses seems like trying to find a needle in a haystack, especially after the much-lauded Durasoft went discontinued. Here is what I have discovered so far is available for torics:
US - Freshlook Colorblends Toric would be it aside from custom contacts at places like fxeyes, but they would cost an arm and a leg. International color torics: Waicon Trikolor Toric - apparently the only way to get in the US is by contacting some guy named Daniel who lives in Argentina. He seems to get great reviews, but it still seems a bit shady to me. Soleko Queen's Solitare Toric - one site it can be found at is mrlens.de Aryan Three-Tone Toric - sold at lenskart.com Circle Lenses from Korea - EOS, Neo Vision, MI, and Toric Flower all make various kinds of toric colored circle lenses. Hopefully US companies will provide more of a market for color toric lenses soon. |

You said "Freshlook Colorblends Toric would be it aside from custom contacts at places like fxeyes, but they would cost an arm and a leg." Do you mean FreshLook ColorBlends would cost an arm and a leg, or custom contacts? I think you mean custom contact lenses, but I just want to clarify. Thanks. |

I found a picture that shows a close up of Fergie's face, and her eyes seem to be a lovely blue/grey. I wonder if she's wearing contacts? It doesn't look like it in this picture.

I agree, John B. Fregie's eyes look natural in that picture.

For anyone looking for opaque colored toric lenses, there is a new option on the international market - Optogel Toric Color by MagicTop. They are available in 4 colors: Mel (honey), Verde (green), Cinza (Grey), Azul (blue). They're SUPER expensive and I'm not ready to plunk down that kind of money for a lens I can't return if I'm not satisfied, but if anyone wishes to check them out, wrlens.com has them. Be sure to post here if you do give them a try. I'm anxious to hear how they look, fit and feel.
Still mourning the loss of Durasoft 3 Optifit Toric Colors... ![]() |

Have you actually seen both the Optogel Toric Color by MagicTop and the Waicon color torics in person to determine if they are truly comparable? Sometimes, places will say "___" is just like "___" only cheaper, but they're not the same at all, if you know what I mean. I'm willing to pay more for nicer looking lenses, but if they really are just as good and cheaper - cool! ![]() Are these the lenses you can only buy from "some dude" in Argentina? I know people on the forums say they've had good experiences buying from him, but it seems a little shady to me...just sayin'. Thanks again for the tip! |

I haven't been able to compare them in person but from what I've heard after doing much research and what I've seen in real people's pictures, they look the exact same. With that said, not quite sure if Optogel is a new material so it might differ a bit but the pattern and color is the exact same. I got mine for $150 because only one lens was toric and the other was just prescription. I believe if you need 2 torics lenses it is $190 or $200 for both. Feel free to message me if you have any questions. ![]() |

How come you don' t have access to the toric lenses? Do you mean toric lenses in general or toric lenses from Waicon? Or maybe I'm just missing the point completely and you mean something else . . .

I saw this post and couldn't believe that Bausch and Lomb didn't make any colored toric lenses, so I checked on Lens.com. Guess what? They don't. I wonder why not?
