Default Solotica contacts - Slippage issues anyone?

I am looking into buying these. I saw one person who posted about saggy lenses, but thought it to just be a defect. Reason I ask is because I have purchased FL Colorblends in the past, and aside from them not being very natural looking, I couldn't see out of them because of the way they sit on my eye. The color covered part of my pupil; they did not sit center. I do not know how anyone could possibly wear them like that - it drove me nuts and I couldn't. I asked my doc about it and they seem to think if the FL CB won't fit me, no color contacts will. That is not very optimistic (and possibly inaccurate).

I think the diameter on the FL CB's was too large for one - it is 14.5 so I've read, and the Soloticas are smaller. I am not sure about the base curve being 8.7 versus 8.6 - I am not sure why my base curve is.

Anyhow - just looking for your experiences before I drop $100+ USD and have to wait 2 months for them to get here.

I find it hard to believe that you can't wear color contact lenses because you tried one brand and they didn't work out. Maybe you need to find a different doctor.
A base curve of 8.7 is very similar to 8.6. If one won't fit the other one probably won't either.
