I've seen some people with dark brown eyes, but never black. I'm guessing that's what color your eyes are, noemieva?

My eyes are medium-dark brown. what were Adores light gray like on this colour? I mean, did they show? I currently use Platinum by B&L but they are a little too obvious. Thanks 4 ur reply.

I found this picture, but the color is called "Bi-Tone Grey." Is this the color you're looking for?

If you look at this picture you will see that the grey kind of fades to brown toward the pupil.

I know this picture from "from head to toe" and it looks great but these are the bi-tones. My mind is still set on the three toned, though I saw a very bad review on youtube for the light blue.

Is this better? This picture is labeled "Adore Tri-tone Grey."

Well, they tried, I guess.
Do you have to have a certain number of posts first before you can post a picture? I know you said you were going to post a review, but I'd sure like to see the contact lenses the way you described them.

Thumbs down do NOT buy them

the Adore tri-tone light grey came. 50 % of the lens is BLACK! They hardly show. So, if your heart is set on Adores, purchase the bi-tones, because they do not have the black streaks. I cannot post pictures yet because I haven't reached the 15-post minimum but I promise I will, in my B&L Platiunum and Accuvue Gray, alongside the horrible, horrible, horrible Adores tri-tone's.

I'm looking forward to seeing those Acuvue lenses, but I'm also curious about those "horrible, horrible Adores tri-tone's." When you say "50% of the lens is black" what does that mean?

It means that the outer rim is very broad and black. Inside it there is a thin layer of grey and around the pupil, some yellowish-brownish spots. But you know what? Everybody told me I look great in them so they became my favourite. They look dark grey-green on my eyes and make my eyes look doll-like big, without anything fake showing. Plus they are so comfortable, that I sometimes forgot to take them out when I got home. I'll post pictures soon

Some people say that the most important thing about contact lenses is if the wearer likes them. Others say that even if the wearer's not mad about the color, if he or she gets a lot of compliments on them, then that's what it's really about, isn't it? It sounds to me like you're in the second category. I think that's good. It's a lot easier to convince yourself that the general public is right, than the other way around. Don't you think?

They're comfortable and people compliment you on them. They sound like winners to me.

I think that if I got compliments on my color contacts, even if I wasn't crazy about them, I may just reconsider my opinion.

Yes. "The People like them, why shouldn't I"?

Sure, don't most people wear colored contact lenses for other people? You can't see them when you're wearing them, can you?

Good point, Spookytooth. If all you can see is people admiring your contact lenses, then I think it's a good thing.

Thanks for your replies, everybody. Sounds like in the case of contact lenses you think "it's better to look good than to feel good."

If that's the case then I'm in trouble.
