It's nice to see such a pretty face so early on a Monday morning. Thanks for posting the pictures.
Honestly to me it's a toss up. They both look really nice on you and the colors (at least as far as I can see) are very similar. You can just go "enny-meeny-miney-mo" and whatever you choose you'll look great. You've got really nice skin and hair. I don't think you have to worry about choosing the "wrong" color.

Thanks Ragnarox! Haha it is just not very helpful not to have a full mugshot, plus I wanted to include some of the pictures/reviews I've found online for anyone else still searching! They can be a bit tricky to uncover.

Speaking of which, there is also a video by Michelle Phan featuring Promise Phan on YouTube in which they are wearing Hidrocor and Hidrocharme Ice, respectively

Might as well post some more links -- these feature full faces.

Haha, oh I'm just tired of making disappointing purchases even after tons of research. and not all of these links have been posted up! Lots more of course. There were quite a few people looking for more pictures/better reviews so I hope this helps them It's hard to tell how they'll look on your own face.

I noticed that for each row of pictures the model (you?) is in exactly the same pose. Did you (she?) really put different lenses in for each picture or are those just a simulation of how the contact lenses are supposed to look?

No no! It's the same picture, but with lenses badly photoshopped on, taken from real pictures. I wanted to garner an idea of how they would look but its impossible to tell until you have already bought and tried them ...sigh

Yes, I see now that you wrote "plus pictures of me -- that I went to the trouble of trying to BADLY photoshop the lenses onto."

Well . . . are you going to buy some lenses now that you've gotten some positive comments?

They look pretty similar to me. They both look nice. Is there different lighting in those pictures or something? I notice there are two pictures that say "Ice" and two that say" Quartzo" and so on, but in some cases the lenses look different, even when they have the same label.

Hey! Yes, because the pictures I got those from varied SO much in lighting and how they appeared on someone's eyes, I have a couple versions to try out how they might look, as realistically as I could.
I did end up ordering the Solotica Hidrocharme Ice, and while I absolutely LOOOVEE them, I am miffed at Lensmarketplace, where I purchased them from, because the two lenses are slightly different - both say hidrocharme ice, but one has a much lower opacity and thicker limbal ring, so on my eyes it looks VERY inconsistent. I haven't seen this happen with anyone else sooo ... perhaps they are from different batches but regardless, I am not pleased. I'll post pictures soon I have tried contacting them and will let you know how that goes ..

Also in case you're wondering, they ended up looking gray on my eyes! Not particularly blue at all, as they have been on others' eyes. Which is strange since my eyes are a fairly dark, warm brown.

But here you are, tried to make it fairly clear how they look on ME in flash [it's amazing how different they look on different people] and sort of in indoor lighting -- which look GREAT but I just can't seem to capture. But most importantly of course, the difference between the two lenses, which is driving me nuts ....
If it's any consolation to you, amnahp12, if I were to see you in an Arby's or something and you didn't say anything about your contacts, I would probably think "she's really pretty," and not "wow, her contact lenses don't match."
