8.4 BC colored contact lens

hi i was wondering if you guys could help me by listing colored lens' that come in a 8.4 bc. Im having a real hard time finding any online
I only found one and they look like they dont change the eye color much. I have mediem brown eyes btw.

I know what you mean, stardust21. You do a search for "base curve 8.4" and all kinds of stuff comes up, and most if it isn't helpful. Fortunately, I know a few tricks. Here are the color lenses I found that come in an 8.4 base curve:

Focus 1-2 Week SoftColors

. . . and that's about it. (So much for my tricks.) If those don't suit you, then you can try vial lenses. They're expensive, but they last a long time and come in a wide variety of parameters.

Here's something else you can try. Maybe you can fit in a different base curve in some lenses. You may find one brand that fits great in what they call an 8.6 or something. Talk to your eye doctor about it. I hope you find something that works for you. Check back with us and let us know how you're doing.

hi thanks for a quick response. Yes those are the only ones i can find too, and they look, well...ugly as hell lol. Im debating just trying 8.3 (Acuvue opaques) and see if i can manage. As of date i have tried expressions, circle lens, and freshlook (all have 8.6-8.7 bc) and they slid all around my eye and were impossible to wear, so im not thinking of trying another 8.6 bc lens...

where do i find "vial" lenses? i thought only circle lens/costume lens came in vials.

If you're planning on trying 8.3 Acuvue Opaques, make sure your doctor is in on the process. If you want to know more about vial lenses, check them out on Lens.com right here: http://www.lens.com/contact-lenses/department101.asp

Most of them have been discontinued, and Softcon EW are about all that are left at this point. Hopefully those will work for you.
