Default SIGH rant about FXeyes. So what can I do about this?

I apologize if I'm posting this on the wrong forum, I'm new to this and not really sure where to ask, figured this'll be the right place.

So, in short, problem is like this:
I ordered coloured toric lenses from fxeyes more than 2 months ago. They said it'll take about 8 weeks to get it done. So, I waited for 8 weeks, waited a couple more days and saw no change in my shipping status.

I emailed the site, asked about my lenses and they said they've been held up due to halloween and appreantly artist just started working on them. This is really annoying. They say they'll be done within "a couple of weeks", my guess is now cause of christmas I'll have to wait AGAIN and its pretty fraustrating. I paid 605$ on these lenses and they're not keeping their promise of shipping it after 8 weeks.

Meanwhile I'm using my old lenses, which are now expired and are hurting my eyes. I was counting on getting the fxeyes ones on the date they promised but seems like im gonna have to wait longer.

My question is, is it legitimate to ask FXeyes to rush it up? or, I donnou, atleast be more specific such as say how much time exactly will I have to wait and not just say "a couple" of weeks.
Do you think I have a right to complain? Will complaining even change anything?

Help appreciated..=(

Sorry about your contact lens frustration. I noticed a couple of things, and I'd like to address them. First of all, they should be done with their Halloween orders by now, and I don't see them having a big rush for Christmas. I don't know anyone who's getting contact lenses for Christmas this year. Can you see someone going "Okay, I think I've got my Christmas shopping done. I got a doll for Suzy and a train for Billy, and some Black Wolf FXeyes contacts for Stan"?

Call those nice folks at FXeyes and tell them how long you've been waiting. Maybe they'll give you a discount or something. Go ahead and complain. It might help speed things up, or it might not. You'll only know if you try. Let us know, okay?

Hey Vita man, Im trying to download a free pc to phone program because calling them from my country is a bit tricky for me. Im just wondering, in your opinion, do you thinks emails dont have the same effect as a phone call? cause thats all I've been doing so far, maybe why they've been taking their sweet time so much:\

Unfortunately, emails are pretty easy to ignore, and sometimes they get lost in cyberspace, but when the customer is right there on the phone, they're harder to dismiss.
