Default dark brown eyes to light blue, please help!

Hello,

I have dark brown eyes and I have been wanting to get light blue eyes for the longest time, in particular Adriana Lima eyes! Im a little nervous about buying colored contacts b.c im worried that they will harm my eyes, has anyone ever had a bad experience that permanently damaged their eyes?

Also, I want it to look as natural as possible, I'll attach a picture of me and a picture of the eye color I want. Im looking for suggestions with brand and color.

Thanks in advanced

Thanks for the question and the pictures. So you're looking for a grey/blue color for your eyes? I tried doing a search on line, but it was hard for me to look at the results I found and then compare them to the picture you posted. However, I'm thinking that Expressions Colors Grey might just be what you're looking for.

If you're nervous about getting color contact lenses, ask your eye doctor about them. He or she will (hopefully) be able to tell you about the different options you have and recommend an brand for you. Then you can get a trial pair to see how you like them. How does that sound?

Ew. I hate Sterling Gray. I used to have them. At the time I loved them haha. But I was looking for contacts that would do exactly the same and give me Adriana Lima-esque eyes and the ones that I bought were Soleko Queen's Solitaire in Perla/Pearl and I think they are much better at going for that goal compared to Freshlook Colorblends.

I actually did a review on them yesterday on my blog (FAIL video included haha):

I have yet to figure out how to post pictures here haha.

Why did you hate the Sterling gray's?? Did they look unnatural? Has anyone ever tried Pearl Grays? Thanks again everyone.

You need to have a certain number of posts first before you can post pictures. I think it's like, fifty posts or something. Did you get an error message when you tried to post some pictures that said "You have to have at least 50 posts before you can attach a picture" or something?

In the meantime, a link to your blog like you put up there will do. I saw the video and let me add to all the people who have already said it: you're very beautiful.

Even when you're holding the contact lens box upside down.

I'm not sure where Spongebob got that picture. I did a search for it myself, but the only think I found was when Google found that picture right here in this thread. Maybe someone took it down. I can see the difference in the picture you posted here, though.

the first pic looks like natural grey eyes....but the second pic is definately coopervision expressions grey.

To get that ultra light icy grey look i think fxeyes would be the best option because they can make custom lenses that look like that first pic. Sorry peeps not sure what color tho.

I'm impressed by your ability to identify a contact lens just by looking at a picture of someone wearing it.
