I have dark brown eyes and like wearing gray lenses (Coopervision - Expressions). They are a beautiful color and look natural in some settings. Sometimes people say I have really attractive eyes, but there are other times that people stare because they look so strange.
It's embarrasing when someone mentions my eyes look very strange, like cats' eyes or zombies . It seems to happen when light hits them at a certain angle. I was told it's due to contacts reflecting light rather than abosorb it like a natural eye. Is there a brand that does not turn to a strange solid color making me look like a cat or zombie? Another problem I want to avoid-- I've noticed that some colored contacts give off a reddish hue looking very unnatural. I've caught myself staring because of the strange appearance, not the beauty. Thanks for any ideas. |
