Brown Lenses in Brown Eyes

Hi,

I have kind of a weird question. Is there any reason why I shouldn't put brown lenses in brown eyes? I like my brown eyes okay, but I wonder what would happen if I tried on some brown colored lenses. Could I get a cool gold color effect or would my eyes just turn black like my pupils were super dilated? I don't think it would actually be harmful, would it? Has anyone tried this?

I don't see any reason why you couldn't enhance your brown eyes with brown contacts. In my own, humble opinion, that's a major reason why brown contacts are sold in the first place. Most of the people posting on sites like this have brown eyes but want to try something different. I don't see a lot of blue or green eyed people asking about brown contacts. So go ahead and put those brown contacts in your brown eyes and enjoy your enhanced color. Don't worry about what others think of you. As a wide man once said: "It's not wise to upset a Wookiee." :-)

Thanks, Wizard. I think you mean "a wise man once said"? I don't recall Jabba the Hutt saying that. All I remember was him saying "Ho, ho, ho, ho" and "Han, me bookee." And of course, the ever popular "bantha poodoo."

Jabba's got brown eyes, too, doesn't he?
