Hi All,
I recently joined this forum and like the diverse topics of discussion. I decided to give contact lenses a shot. I'm thinking of trying out Color Contact Lenses and my girlfriend told me of a site where I can try on before I buy, www.NoveltyContactLenses.com. My question is what contact lenses are better for prescription use, does it even make a difference? If I need prescription lens should I go for color lenses, or regular transparent prescription lenses. Thanks for eveyone's input. ![]() Marshal Last edited by LENS101; 02-20-2009 at 03:32 PM.. |

The thinner the contact lens, the more comfortable they appear to be. At least in my experience, which goes back some 30 years now!!!!!

The Astigmatism test What is it? An astigmatism chart helps determine whether the curvature of your cornea or lens is normal. An abnormal curvature, usually more football-shaped than round, will sharply focus some portions of an image onto the retina while blurring others. How do I do it? 1.If you have contacts or glasses, wear them. 2.Sit about 14 inches away from your computer screen. 3.Cover one eye. 4.Note how the lines and squares appear (for example, wavy or blurred). 5.Test the other eye in the same manner. What do my results mean? To a normal eye, the lines will appear sharply focused and equally dark. If some sets of lines appear sharply focused and dark while others are blurred and less dark, you may have astigmatism. Regardless of your result, see your eye doctor on a regular basis for a complete eye exam. Last edited by catt; 08-06-2010 at 10:52 PM.. |

Yeah. I like the one with the kitten coming out from under the desk.
What was the original question again? |
