I read something where a person made a joke about people being "addicted" to color contact lenses. Of course, this would not be a chemical dependency like a drug addiction, but there still may be people out there who "need" to keep changing the color of their eyes and feel very out of sorts when they can't, for whatever reason.
Is this really true, or is my imagination getting the best of me? IS there some kind of behavioral "dependence" on changing one's appearance? |

Thanks for sharing what you think. Here's my question to you, though. How do you know you haven't found the "right" color? You've got quite a few pictures up here in Lens 101 so I know you're a good looking guy. (Unless you're posting someone else's picture. ) You've probably got the male population here jealous and the female population just sighing. To answer your question, you will not find the right color contacts if you don't know what you're looking for. |

Well, it's been a few weeks since you posted this message. Are you still "in love" with your Baby Blue Natural Touch contacts?

What seems to be wrong about it? My cousin have different colored contacts. She told me that colored contact lens would add self confidence. And she really feels good about it. Fancy contact lens are quite addictive.

I agree with you, Kyles. Some people are quite addictive to colored contact lens because they feel good whenever they wear it. The eyes get more attractive as well. However, do you think it is advisable to change contact lens 2-3 times a day?

I don't see any reason why you'd have to change your contact lens 2-3 times a day. If that's happening, a trip to the eye doctor is in order. You should at least be able to get a full day out of them, and, depending on what kind you have, you could be able to go a month with a single pair. 2-3 times a day is too much. |

Don't wear them too long, and--if they're not daily disposables--make sure you clean them properly between uses. |
