Default What if Color Contacts Don't Center Very Well?

I've seen some pictures of people with color contact lenses and they look off-center. If you order color contacts with the same base curve and diameter as your regular "clear" contacts, how is it that they can be so off-center like that?

Default Color Contacts Don't Center Very Well

When you have clear contact lenses, you don't notice so much because the whole disc is clear, unlike color contact lenses.
Why don't the color contacts center as well as the clear ones? Maybe they are. Again, it's harder to tell if a clear contact lens is off-center.
Unfortunately, color contacts usually come in one or two "one size fits most" sizes, so if they don't fit, there's really not very much that can be done.
Good luck.

Thank you for your time and knowledge, Shade Maiden. Your point about not being able to tell if a clear contact lens is off-center is a good one.

Are you serious? I've never heard of such a thing.

I've seen your pictures on this site, but I think you're always wearing colored contact lenses. Do they typically hide your off-center pupils?

Wow. That look really weird. Perhaps you've got a picture of an alien. You know how the aliens always have weird eyes.

Yeah, it's easy to recognize aliens. Just look into their eyes.

Her eyes are very interesting, but I'm guessing some (male) people manage to miss them entirely . . .

That's a unique application of eye makeup. I wonder if she was in the makeup chair and her Make Up Person said "I'd like to try something with your eyes. Hold still. You're gonna love it!"

Apparently she does love it if she's willing to pose for pictures.

It looks like that pupil is a bit high and toward your nose. Are both eyes like that heidi?

That's a very good point, Logopolis. Maybe she's trying to get people to look at her eyes for a change.

Yeah, I look at those eyes and I'm almost tempted to back away.

Almost.
