Default new to wearing colour lenses, problems :(

Hi I wore my first pair of colour lenses today, for cosmetic reasons only. I got the freshlook colourblend. The first few hours when I wore if my sight was very blurry, and most of the day my eyes felt quite itchy and the edge of the lense uncomfortable.I thought I may have put them inside out but I don't think that's the case .. Any idea as to why

1) i cant seen clearly
2) why they are itchy and uncomfortable

can I weat any eyedrops whilst I have lenses in?

thanks a lot for your helo @)

I've never had any trouble with coloured lenses, except if I ever get dust in my eyes. I'd talk to my doctor about this. I'm pretty sure they can figure it out.

you can put eye drops in, they may have gotten a bit of grit on them

i find that the best way to get em on without any grity or 'bits' i them is to wash my hands, and then with my hands still wet (if u dry them then lint from the towel gets on them), wet the lens and rub it, then put on your finger and run solution over the lens then pull the edges up so it is ready to put in

u can also put a drop of solution into the lens before you put it on

if you keep having issues try the hot water trick as the lens may not be quite the right shape for your eye - that usually causes blurriness and the hot water trick will fix that for you.

some ppl say dont do it - i have never had a problem - and when i had a $400 pair of lens not fit properly dammed if I was going to just not wear them - did the hot water trick and they were good as gold after that!

Can you explain that 'trick' and when it's best to use it?

Thx,

Okay, you keep talking about "the hot water trick" like we all know what that means. SimplySpoiled and I don't know what you're talking about. Would you mind explaining?
