Hi Monica from Spain. Welcome to Lens 101.

Hmmm . . . I don't know how you can contact "daniel." I'm afraid that's a rather common name. If you click on the blue line above where it says "Members List" and then look under "D", you will find a few people with "Daniel" as part of their name. Send them a private message--although I think you have to sign up as a member of Lens 101 to do that.

As for where to buy annual Waicon, Trikolor, I don't know what to tell you about those.

you can buy them from here http://www.lensmarketplace.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=41

Change the currency to US currency

I bought my adore bi-tone lenses from there and they took about 2 weeks to get here (texas). I used paypal to pay so I felt pretty safe doing that.

I was thinking about waicons but i just don't know, I've really only like soloticas so far

Wait. I thought Soloticas and Waicons were the same thing. What's the difference?

I am SOO happy to hear someone else say they ordered from lensmarketplace!
I placed an order on the 13th of April, and I was unsure of the site?
But,, now I know,, it's all good!!
I just gotta wait the 2wks!
IT does say they have been shipped already, and I do have a tracking number!!
Once, I get them in,, I am going to post a pic!!
I have heard & seen so many awesome things about the color gray from waicon!!
I can't wait!!
I wear the FreshLook ColorBlends right now, in gray,, and they are nice on me,, I just want something a little more, dramatic!!

That's a cute picture, sproutips. I like the whiskers. I like the gray contacts, too.

Did you know that Lens.com sells FreshLook ColorBlends? All you have to do is click on that red rectangle at the top of this page. That will save you time, and I bet they will save you money. Their prices are tough to beat.

Good luck with those new Waicon lenses. I look forward to seeing the pictures.

Those contacts look very nice on you. Very natural.

The only thing is, they make your nose look black.

No, I haven't....... : (
Why,, do you know something I don't?
I am thinking, and "hoping" any day now, though...
It arrived last Friday at ISC NY, and I hear, it takes anywhere from a few days there to a week, to get to the recipient...
Keep your fingers crossed....

Hang in there sproutjps. I ordered a book on line about a week ago and I was expecting to get it today. I got an email that said "Sorry. We haven't found a copy of your book yet, but just as soon as we do, we'll send it right out to you, `kay?"

Maybe someday we'll all have transporters in our homes and stores can just "beam" our stuff to us. Wouldn't that be great?

Hey sproutjps,

Thanks for posting the picture. You remind me a little of Jessica Biel. The color looks nice and natural, and despite your complaint about "suffocating eyeballs" they still look clear and bright.

Now, as a long-time contributor to this forum, I am a fearless defender of Lens.com, it's sponsor. They don't sell the Waicon lenses, but they do sell Natural Touch Opaque contacts, which are very striking and they're sold at a pretty good price, too.

So if for some reason you don't want to order Waicon lenses, give lens.com a try. In the meantime, sproutjps, I hope you find a solution for your lack of oxygen and enjoy those beautiful contacts.

Sounds good to me!
I am going to see how long, I can deal with these, they are VERY pretty, but not VERY comfortable...
So, maybe, my next lenses will be some of the ones you suggested!

Hi sproutjps, Welcome to Lens 101. I also want to comment about how good those contacts look on you. Too bad they're not more comfortable.

I also agree with Wendy94 that the Natural Touch contact lenses have some really nice colors available. I hope you find some contacts that are pretty and comfortable for you. If you have any more questions, you know where you can come.

I like this picture, sproutjps. In particular, I like how your T-shirt is out of focus so we can concentrate on your eyes. Nice effect.

What would you say to a pair of novelty cat's-eye contact lenses to go with your whiskers?

Let me know. Let us all know, in fact. It sounds like the lenses you got from Lensmarketplace leave something to be desired. That's too bad. I hope you can salvage this situation somehow.

Thumbs up UPDATE on lenses, and PIC!!

Well, I didn't fall off the earth,, LOL!
I have just been posting on other topics, on my lenses.
I did order the Solotica lenses,, and yes, they are "much more comfortable", than the Waicon's....
Although I am still having issues with my "DRY EYE" s.....
I did see the eye Dr about it, and was prescribed "Restasis",, because she did say, it is that bad....
And,, it's not just the lenses,, Thank the Lord!!
I do LOVE how the Solotica's are much more "realistic" looking.... the pattern that is,, and the color is not to shabby either!!
I got the "QUARTZO's" in the natural colors..
Here is a pic of me with the lenses!
The only over the counter drops, that I have found that do help, is the "THERA TEARS".....
And, I have been using the Clear Care solution too, that seems to work better than the opti free, for these lenses?
Well, until next time!!.

Nice to hear from you again, sproutjps--and see you. You look different without your whiskers.

I'm glad you found contacts and a lens care regimen you like. Still, in the picture above your eyes do look a bit red. Is that from the Solotica lenses?

You're right, Elaine. Sproutjps's left eye looks especially bloodshot.

It may have nothing to do with contact lenses, but it is noticeable, even in a wide shot.

Thumbs up It's MOSTLY ALLERGIES****

I do see what you guys are saying...
But, ever since we moved up North,, I have been having TERRIBLE ALLERGIES!
: O
And,, I had just finished mowing the grass, when my hubby took this pic of me!
And wearing the lenses,, probaably doesn't help my situation!!
: (
But,, I do LOVE them!!
I find myself, going back and forth though...
From the Waikon's to the Solotica's!!
I guess it depends on my mood!!

Here is a recent pic of me with the Gray Trikolor Waicon's!
And the cutie is my lil' one!

Is that "lil' one" your daughter? If so you must have had her when you were quite young because you could pass for sisters easily, and I'll bet you have.

I'm glad that your red eyes were the result of allergies rather than contact lens irritation.

Aaroncablemom asked the question above, but it wasn't answered: I thought that Waicon and Solotica were the same thing, too. I thought one was the manufacturer and one was the brand, like "Chevy Cobalt." I was thinking that everyone was saying the equivalent of "Which do you like better? Chevys or Cobalts?" I did a quick search and discovered that they are two different brands.

Neither one of them are sold by Lens.com, unfortunately.

I barely recognized you without your whiskers and black nose.

Halloween is fast approaching once again. Are you going to post more pictures in costume? Maybe you'll try some novelty contact lenses this year.

I can see even in this picture that your eyes don't match due to your gray contacts. Does your friend there have the same (natural) eye color as you do? (By "lil' one" you mean "daughter," right?)

Solotica and Waicon are not the same. They are made by different manufacturers.

I copied and posted the text above and got an error message. Then I found the URL http://www.youtube.com/v/I59z1MJY7wg?fs=1&hl=en_US&color1=0xcc2550& amp;color2=0xe87a9f

That worked for me. Or perhaps Lens 101 members can just go to YouTube and find this clip by searching for the keywords "Waikon trikolor Gray contacts" and clicking on the clips that have your screen name on it?

The contacts look really nice, by the way. Might I suggest moving pictures so we can see you blink? If you're in a movie clip and you're not blinking very much and look like you're comfortable, I'd feel better about ordering the lenses.

I'm glad I'm able to help more Lens 101 visitors to see your beautiful eyes. It makes me feel--like Mr. Shatner up there--like I might have a tiny particle of awesome in me.

You've got a lot of awesome in you, too, sproutjps. I can't wait to see that video.
