Default Blue contact lenses for blue eyes?

t's a strange question maybe, since I have blue eyes, but my eyes are a rather plain boring grayish blue and no darker outline at all.

I would love to get contacts with a darker line around the iris, but they should look natural (I'm aware that lenses don't look 100% natural but they should be as close to natural as possible).

I wonder what happens if you combine blue contacts with blue eyes, I don't want to have xray eyes that freak everyone out. *laughs*

For example, if I would get Elegance Dark Blue contacts would the be a bit lighter on my eyes then or at a normal color? I'm afraid if I choose light blue it will be too much.

The enhancers usually just add too much color and no "structure" to the iris and of course no outer line.

Hello, my 13 year old daughter has very light, see thru blue eyes. She wears different enhancers and they make her eyes look even more blue. The Expressions Accents look VERY REAL. You can not tell they are contacts AT ALL, not even close up outdoors in the daylight. They are nothing like the Expressions for dark eyes. Same with the Acuvue Colours Enhancers. Neighter lens has a dark limbal ring though. But the color does get slightly darker towards the outer part of the Expressions. The Acuvue are an enhancing tint, no pattern, just one tinted color. The Expressions does have a slight pattern but it is not noticable in the eye, only the color is. They both look COMPLETELY REAL!

For the most part, Opaque lenses, made for darker eyes don't look that nice on lighter eyes. They give the iris a strange layered look. But the Natural Touch and Elegance do look nice on lighter eyes. So any color would definitely make a difference cause they are very vibrant.

The FreshLook Radiance only made my daughters eyes darker. But it also did darken her limbal rings.

Here you go. FL CB one day blue over light blue eyes. It darkens them nicely, in my opinion.

I know someone who used to work with a girl who put blue contacts over her blue eyes. The result was x-ray eyes that freaked everyone out. Seriously, they were SO blue that it couldn't possibly be natural.

Ziggy looks pretty good up there, however.
