Someone mentioned a color contact lens called "Freshkon." Does anyone know how these compare to better-known contact lenses like FreshLook or Acuvue 2 Colors?

Hi Slade, let me see if I can help you with your question.

Let's start with Freshkon. These are contact lenses made by the Freshkon company, they are Color Contact Lenses that come in Winsome Brown and Mystical Black. They are monthly disposable contacts made of 45% Hema Copolymer .

Freshlook Colors contacts are made by the Wesley Jessen company, they are color contact lenses that come in blue, green, hazel and violet. They are monthly disposable contacts made of 45% Polymer (phemfilcon A) .

That's pretty much the side-by-side comparison. If there's anything else you'd like to know, just ask and I'll do my best. These two types of contact lenses are very similar, but the FreshLook Colors come in more colors.

Regarding the polymer hema copolymer content of Freshkon and Phemfilcon for Freshlook, which ones better in oxygen permeability?

Actually, I just received a new contact lens prescription for FreshLook Colors and was doing an online search for any new colors that they may have recently come out with, when I came across Freshkon. Checked into it and this is what I found:

FreshKon®, located in Singapore, carries the following (which are not cheap BTW):
FreshKon® Alluring Eyes; Colors Fusion, and Mosaic..
Alluring Eyes (with a 55% water content) are monthly ‘Iris Enhancers’, that make your eyes appear larger. However, they come in only two colors -- black and brown.

FreshKon® Colors Fusion has natural-looking 3-tone lenses. They come in 9 different colors: Misty Grey, Groovy Green, Perky Brown, Hippie Chestnut, Warm Hazel, Baby Aqua, Sky Blue, Cool Green and Romantic Violet.

FreshKon Mosaic, comes in blue, grey, green and brown.

I have attached a copy of the Colors Fusion lenses

Nice work, catt. A very colorful and informative posting. Perhaps Lens 101 should put you on the payroll.

Nice work, catt. I think my favorite color here is either Perky Brown or Hippie Chestnut.

Perky Brown or Hippie Chestnut, huh??? Why not the Warm Hazel, pathfinder? After reviewing the choices again, it appears there is not much difference between the three colors.

I think Pathfinder just likes the names. Am I right?

I kind of likes those names too, but I see what you mean about their similarity. Me, I kind of like the Cool Green. You don't see very many eyes that are bright green like that. At least I don't.

Yes, these three colors do look very much alike, but I think that Hippie Chestnut seems to be a smidge darker than the other two. Don't you think so?

I don't know. It seems to me that those three colors are very similar. Maybe it's got something to do with my monitor.
