Default Waicon are dot matrix!! Grrr...

I heard so many great things about waicon lenses, that I decided to get them as my first pair of colored contacts. (non-prescription).

I was sad to see they are dot matrix. Does anyone know of natural-looking lenses that aren't dox matrix?

Are solitica dotty?

They don't look "dotty" to me. What do you think?

with out a doubt Solotica, lok at youtube and the colors people posted. Its almost Guaranteed that they will look great and its not dot matrix. Becareful getting from Brazillian website, language problems will cause costumer service issues and shipping i $20-$30....look at Amazon, they have Solotica there too. Hands down the best

i have that pair of soloticas and they look amazing you can't see the dots or anything and they look blueish green in the sun, amazing colour! they cover dark brown eyes really well, but they are not very bright but they still do the work.

Default Let's See the Soloticas

Does anyone have pictures of these Solotica contact lenses that they're so wild about? They're not on Lens.com so you'd have to check another site.

This picture was titled "NC Topazio Solotica." Does anybody know what NC stands for?

NC is natural colors.... which i believe is their least opaque line they sell, the hidrocharm being the most....

Wow I just ordered some waicon greens and I'm scared now because you said they are dotty. I have a lot of soloticas and they're not dotty but I just haven't found the perfect green for me. My eyes are almost black and I have cristals which are very pretty and natural but a light green/grayish color and the natural color mels are too dark for me. I was going to try the hidrocor mels but i don't think I will like them on me and I don't like the thick black ring of the charms.

I hope you will let us know how you like the Waicon lenses when they arrive. Just because some people don't like the look of these lenses, doesn't mean you won't. Give them a try.
If they don't work out, maybe lens.com has something for you.

Cristal is the newest color in Solótica´s Natural Colors chart. It is only available in Natural Colors, they don´t make them in Hidrocor or Hidrocharme. It´s a very light gray.

I believe most of the contact lenses in the market are made with dot matrix (nice and elegant or crappy, but dot matrix), with the exception of the very expensive custom made lenses which are hand painted. The best colored lenses out there right now are the ones manufactured in South America, specifically Brazil (Solótica and Magic Top) and Argentina (Waicon). In fact, many people think Magic Top and Waicon are the same. They´re not, but I´ll tell you have a pair of very beautiful and natural looking Magic Top Lavanda, and the iris pattern is quite similar to the Waicons I have seen in many forums. I assure you, nobody hates Waicons, I will order a couple of them, and the only way that people can see them "dotty", is because they have macro vision, or else they are on your face and about to kiss you. Don´t worry..... Have you considered Solótica´s Natural Colors Esmeralda? Nice, very nice

Thank you for the product information, joss123. You sound like you know your lenses. Just the kind of person we need around here.

First off, YESSSSS! Solotica are dotty!!!
Secondly, to everyone, beware, i repeat, beware of wrlens.com. These ppl are so unprofessional, my dog could run their business better than them!!! They are rude, unprofessional, vulgar and try to bully you around. If you purchase lenses from them and receive a defective lens, they try to make out as though it's your fault. And yes, they request of you to try the defective lens on before replacing it, saying it's in their policy!!!! Who in their right mind would do this??? If you try resolve things with them, they get very nasty as though you've wronged them or try to act as though they do not comprehend things when u call!!! Then they claim to ensure defect-free lenses before shipping them out to you! Well, who's inspecting them, a blind dog!!!???? I don't know who wrlens.com think they are, i say run!!!!!! Run fast and do business elsewhere!!!!!
