At what point did she really start to feel bad about this "dirty little secret"? I am not so sure that at this point it's truly a secret; I mean the guy HAS TO KNOW, ya know? Insofar as me finding out that this guy that I have been in a LTR doesn't really have "baby blue" eyes; just plain old ugly brown ones, I would for sure poke his eyes out! That would teach him to lie to me about something so mundane.
No, seriously I wouldn't care one bit. I would just be a little suspicious as to what else she may have not been telling me. I might go so far as to give her hair a couple of hard tugs to see if it was indeed real.
Bottom Line: Tell her to tell him NOW.! Hey, tell her to wear a different color and see if he notices. If he does, then that's her "lead in".
This situation is way to weird to be real.

Talk about a weird situation, I'm pretty much just hearing one side of it.
Catt, I agree with your point about being dishonest with someone you're in a relationship (or LTR, as you put it) with. When they find out you've been dishonest about something, they'll begin to wonder what else you've been less that forthcoming about.
On the other hand, I remember visiting some female friends of mine, two sisters. I was at their place pretty late and they excused themselves to go take their
contacts out. They weren't color contacts, but it was still a surprise. I didn't feel like they were lying to me or "keeping something from me" though.
Maybe the girl who is wearing the contacts can just casually excuse herself and remove them. Then when he expresses surprise at her eye color, they can then talk about it, but he might be mad about being deceived, although technically it's not deceit if she never actually said "Yes, this is my true eye color" when wearing the colored contacts.
K_JM, I'm sorry about the sarcasm. I can't really control how people respond to your question, but I can tell you that most of the answers on this website are positive and helpful. I don't know what was said, but I hope you will still contribute to Lens 101 in the future.
