Default could someone post pics of ppl w/ solótica's blue contacts?

hi, this is my first post here and i dont know if this is the right place to post this :/ so mods: feel free to move/merge this thread. (im pretty sure this is not the right place)

ok, i have really light brown eyes, they look almost yellow (i look like a damn blind cat tbh) and i wanted to buy blue contacts by solótica, i think they look pretty real. but i need to see how they look b4 i buy them, i just saw the one posted at solotica's OHP, but im not sure if they'll look a 100% that way since the color ice (which seemed pretty cool) looks pretty fake actually, and yoube doesnt have any video of this colour.

this is me with light blue waicons:
assss.jpg
i want c lenses that look like them, but i dont want waicon cos they slide inside my eyes, r solotica's the ones im looking for? XD

oh, and btw, does someone know what brand these contacts might be? i just wore them once but forgot i had them and went to the pool and lost them D8 and i threw the container as soon as i opened it (im a dumbass, i know u_u) 510565805nxvuoeawvfljak.jpg
i'd buy these ones as well, i like how they look

doubts:
1. besides, im a model, and n the agency where i work they dont let us wear contacts... is it stupid to be in a random place with one colour and then be n another place with another colour?
2. i have brown hair and white skin, does blue look good on me? or maybe i should pick another colour like green? (i was never good at combining colours lol). my ex bf has green eyes and they look awesome
1240097346681.jpg
(hope he doent mind that i posted his pic XD). *shrugs* but i still prefer blue. does this kind of green exist for contacts?

sorry for the lenght
and thanks for reading ^^
any help is much appreciated
and sorry for my english XD

Hi Byouto,
I've been studying online pics and photos of colored contacts for a while now, trying to determine the best look for myself.

As far as the brand of colored contacts you lost in the pool, it's difficult to tell from a far away photo like the one you posted. The closer to the eye the better - and still be in focus. However, I understand you can take no new pictures since they are lost. Based on your photo, my best guess is that you used to have Durasoft 2 Opaques - Blue.

And regarding your ex-boyfriend's eye color, yes. You can change your eye color to also look like his. There are many brands out there that will do the job. You just have to look around and pick the one that works for you, the way you like it.

You can work a little with enhancer type colored contacts since your eyes are light brown, to actually change the color and get very unique results. But for getting them to a grey (greenish-grey), I would recommend sticking to the opaque type.

There are two opaque type contact brands/colors that look like a good match to me. They are either the Acuvue 2 Colours - Pearl Grey or the Durasoft 2 Colors – Grey.
Both provide good solid coverage (of the eye’s actual iris) with very little pattern and minimal blending. However, neither provide a darker limbal ring (the ring around the outside of the eye’s iris).

Therefore, if you also like the dark limbal ring of your ex-boyfriends eyes and want to match that as well, you might consider going with a contact that includes a limbal ring on the contact – in addition to solid coverage.
Such as Natural Touch – Ice or Hidrocharme – Ice.
Either would match his eyes in my opinion.

Good luck!

PS- It sure would be great to hear what you decided and see the results.

Although sifting through it all can sure be a daunting task to find what you seek.
I myself actually stumbled onto this forum site through a search engine scan of color contact lens images.

Yes indeed. I do believe this Internet thingy is here to stay.

I sound like Homer Simpson. "Oh, so they have Internet on computers now." What will they think of next?

Wow. Those are very blue contact lenses. In fact, I think they might be too blue. They don't exactly look natural, but maybe that's not a bad thing. Maybe like the conversation between Paul and Jamie on Mad About You as they were watching a naughty movie. "Okay, you know those aren't real," said Jamie.
"I don't care," replied Paul, without taking his eyes off the screen.

So you may not care all that much that kmoanig is wearing colored contacts.

okay, i want to get soloticas blue BUT im not sure which of the three would be best.... the pic on this quote is HIDROCHARME blue and the two youtube videos are Natural Colors blue. Does anyone have pics of HIDROCOR blue?
i have been having trouble finding any....
i have dark brown eyes and would like the brightest blue of these three, even if it looks a bit unnatural.....
it seems as if the HIDROCHARME blue would be brighter, but i havnt been able to find any other pictures of it besides this one at the top.....
if anyone has came across any, please share (:

The brightest blue of the three would be Hidrocor blue.

In the Solotica line, Hidrocor's are the most opaque, while Natural Color's are the least opaque (Hidrocharme's being in the middle).

Here's a link to see a video of them:

Hi there 512erika. I hope you're planning on having pictures taken of yourself in your Quartzo contact lenses. Those Solotica lenses look pretty good on the other people on this site. Maybe Lens.com should start selling those.
Anyway, I hope to see pictures of you soon in this thread with your new contact lenses in place.

Yes, let's see your eyes with and without the colored contact lenses if possible. We like pictures here on Lens 101.

We can't wait to see them on you, 512erika. It's been said many times already, but we like to look at pictures of Lens 101 members. We're a good looking bunch.

When I read that part where you used the phrase "incredible collective of information" I couldn't help but think if Star Trek and the Borg Collective. It would seem that Seven of Nine had some kind of work done on her her eyes, although probably not contact lenses.

Does anybody know Seven of Nine's real (former/human) name? (The character, not the actress)?

Annika Hansen.

Thank you, Google. I'm afraid I'm not enough of a "Trekkie" to pull that information from the top of my head. I had to say "Computer!"
*Tweet tweet.*
"Give the actress' name who played Seven of Nine on the TV series 'Star Trek: Voyager'."

"Accessing . . .

. . . Annika Hansen"

How cool is that?

Here's a freebie for you. Did you know the female computer voice aboard the Enterprise and Voyager is none other than Majel Barrett, also known as Mrs. Gene Roddenberry?

Of course, if you know who Gene Roddenberry was, than you probably know about the computer voice anyway.

Carry on.

So you've mentioned and "ex bf" and posted a picture next to a girl with her face blacked out. It seems like you might have some relationship issues, but that's for another forum.

Anyway, this forum does not have a separate section for Solotica lenses, so this Color Contact Lenses section is about the closest you can get.

You say you're interested in blue Solotica lenses, but you're not sure about the colors. Can your eye doctor give you a sample pair? That's fairly common for eye docs to do that.

As for identifying a brand of contact lenses from a picture, I'm afraid I'm not that good. Someone may come along and ID the lenses, so don't give up just yet.

I hope that answers some of your major questions, Byouto.

Isn't the computer voice the same in all the Star Trek series?

More to the point, why does Mrs. Roddenberry seem to be naked in that picture, and why is she winking?

Perhaps she's having contact lens issues.
