Default Scam? Probably Not

It tells you to check status online but it hasn't changed since... Did I get scammed
I don't think you got scammed, Shakibabe88. A lot of people on this site have posted their comments about how much they like wrlens and Solotica lenses. It's kind of annoying because this site is sponsored by Lens.com, and they don't sell Solotica lenses. People can buy contact lenses wherever they want, but let's show a little love to the company that made this forum possible, huh?

So, in summary, from what I've read here, that seems like a good place to buy contact lenses, and the problem is likely with the website and not with the shipping of your contacts. I really don't think there's any scam going on.

Thank you for the prompt reply. Wrlens finally contacted me this morning after at least 6 emails and ensured my contacts would be shipped out soon. *fingers crossed.
Also, thank you lens.com for this forum, so buyers can be well informed to make a better decision.

I'm glad you finally tracked down your contacts, and I hope you love them when you get them. Let us know when you do, and if you're very brave, maybe you can show us a picture of how they look on you. Would you like to do that?

Suh-weet!

While you're waiting to get those lenses, keep on posting here. I think you have to have a certain number of posts here before you can put up pictures.

Seriously? Dang, I wonder how many I have to post before I'm allowed to. I'll have to find some other thread to ramble on in the meantime. :P

You can ramble. We like rambling.

I think that post limit has been lifted because earlier today I noticed someone posted a picture and they only had a few posts. If you want to put a picture up here, just give it a try and see what happens. You might get a message that says "You must have X number of posts to insert a picture into Lens 101" or something. If you do, would you tell us what it says?

How about if you show us those pictures in a new thread. I don't know if anyone is going to want to go to a second page to see the latest posting.

Wow. Maybe you should have ordered from Lens.com. According to the contact information, they're in Missouri. Not Cyprus. If you're in the US, they'll probably get to you in less than a month.

Just click the red button up there.

As you all can tell, I'm super duper excited despite the delay. Lol I don't think I've reached my minimum post on here yet, but I will make sure to find a way. Thanks to everyone who has eased my concerns throughout this time <3

@ John: Im fairly new at this forum stuff, where do I go to start a new thread and how will the peeps on this thread know I posted a new one? Thanks!

I hope John316 doesn't mind my stepping in to help. Judging by the screen name, I think I'm safe.

Anyway, if you want to start a new thread, just go to the main page (www.lens101.com) and click on the name of the contact lens you want to talk about. Since Lens 101 does not have a section for lenses sold by Wrlens.com, you can probably try the Color Contact Lenses section. Once you click, scroll down about halfway down the page and you'll see a button on the left side labeled "New Thread." I think you can take it from there.

I don't know of any way to send out a signal that says "Hey everybody! Shakibabe88 just posed something new!" You can get an email telling you that someone has replied to one of your posts, but I didn't see any way of notifying others that you've posted.

After a morning of taking pictures, I come to find I can't post them. Lol I need to have a minimum of 15 posts before I can do so. I may need to ramble.

Go a head and ramble. You're almost at your 15 post minimum and we love seeing members' pictures. Especially those members with a word like "babe" in their screen name.

I saw the YouTube clip and your eyes look very, very blue. I wasn't able to see your natural eye color in the "before" picture though. Still, the lenses look good on you. Thanks for the pictures and the video.

Those lenses look really nice. The only thing is that they're just blue. If you look into a person's natural eyes you will see spots and streaks of different colors.

When you're not actually writing a post, look at the top of the field where your post is. The pale blue line. On the left you'll see your screen name. On the right you'll see "Join Date" and "Posts."
So does that mean were about to see a picture of the Shakibabe?

Let me save you all the trouble of doing a search. Shakibabe88's pictures are here: http://www.lens101.com/color-contact-lenses/127798-solotica-hydrocharme-ice-pix.html

You'll be glad you went to that thread. She's a lovely lady.

It's a very welcoming environment on here I'm very happy with my hydrocharme ice lens, just not the ocre ones. I sent the lenses back for inspection. They finally received them after three weeks so I hope they send me another pair or something. Will keep this issue updated.

I am new here but I am lost obviously. I keep seeing where SENIOR posters are asking people who bought from other sites why they didnt buy from lens.com and lens.com doesnt sell SOLOTICAS, right? So why do they keep asking posters why they didnt buy from Lens.com?

Does lens.com in fact have SOLOTICAS? this is confusing

Hi havanadaydream. Welcome to Lens 101. You're right. In that quote, "Steuhrob" suggested that "gorluff" shop at Lens.com. My guess is that Steuhrob didn't know that Lens.com doesn't sell Soloticas or maybe he or she was suggesting that gorluff forget the Soloticas and see what Lens.com has to offer.

Lens.com does not sell Solotica lenses. They are a U.S. company and Solotica lenses come from Brazil. I hope that clears up your confusion.

Maybe the question is "Why didn't you buy contact lenses that are available at Lens.com?"

Hellooo I was searching around and I saw your post. we share very similar natural eye color, and i really need to ask you a few questions about the solotica. have you ever tried the marine color? and what did you find most natural looking? (especially close-up) the hidrocor or the natural colors? From the many pictures and videos I've seen, the hidrcor looks more natural to me. I would really appreciate your help thank you
