Default Cover Girl CG-297 Eyeglasses Every Day

I read an article recently about glasses being a fashion accessory. I suppose at one time they were considered medical devices like crutches or something. Now they're more like hair bows or bracelets.
Do you have more than one pair of CG-297 glasses? The article I read said that you wouldn't wear the same pair of glasses every day any more than you'd wear the same outfit every day. Do you think that's a fair analogy?

Default Too expensive

In my opinion, Cover Girl is too expensive. I'd much rather play with the clothes in the Fashion Fantasy Game because they're free. Not to mention that it's really a pretty good game.

Cool. Can you put glasses on the model? I went to the website but I couldn't get much information without signing up.

Yeah, they just added a feature where you can put glasses on the model. Sign up is free, but to give you the skinny, it's a game where you can be either a storeowner or a designer, and the point is to make FBz, which are the same as Simoleons in the Sims. Try it out. It's pretty fun.

Do you know of a game like that where you can try colored contact lenses on the models?

I went to that site and the models look kind of strange:

Where have I seen that look before?

Oh yeah:

I don't know about colored contact lenses, but that would be cool. It reminds me of those lenses that can give you the eyes of a cat.

Yeah, I thought the models looked kind of strange too. It's one of those quirks I like about the game.

You know, I hope that game doesn't make impressionable young girls want to look like a Kaminoan administrative aide.

Yeah, I'm really concerned. They may have surgery to lengthen their necks.

Yeah, you don't need that, kids. Just get the CoverGirl glasses and you'll look great.

So, for those of us still in the Stone Age, "FBz" and "Simoleons" are forms of currency, right?

Simoleon: (symbol similar to §), "the basic unit of currency in many Maxis games, including SimCity, The Sims and The Urbz."

There you have it.

It looks like I'll have to remind you kids again that this forum in general and this thread in particular is about Cover Girl eyeglasses. It asks if you think you need more than one pair of glasses because wearing the same pair day after day after day Just Isn't Done.

Well, do you?

Nah, I've never been one to follow fashions. I wear the same glasses day after day after day.

Yeah, me too Kyleden. Thanks for your reply.

Would anyone else like to comment about wearing the same pair of glasses every day?

I think it's a ploy to sell more glasses.

I only have one pair of glasses, and I've never wished for another except maybe during one of those rare moments when I can't find them.

Oh, and in case you're wondering, yes, I have literally looked under my bed for my glasses.
