Ever hear the urban legend about a man and a woman who meet and decide to spend the night in a nearby hotel? In the middle of the night, the man wakes up thirsty and--How about that? A glass of water right on the nightstand! *Gulp* Ahhhh. Zzzzzzzzz
You guessed it. He drank the glass of water where she was storing her contacts. There are several lessons to be learned here, boys and girls. 1. Don't spend the night at a hotel with a stranger. 2. Don't store your contact lenses in a glass of water, for many reasons. 3. Don't grab a glass of an unknown substance and chug it down, assuming it's drinkable. 4. Don't believe everything you read on the Internet! ![]() |
