Default CSI FW discontinued!!- recommendations?!

Been wearing CSI FW for over 20 yrs. Was shocked to learn today they were discontinued.

Fyi- I soak them in 'AO Sept' solution every night and rinse with Unisol.

Don't want to switch to daily disposable or weekly disposable lenses. The CSI FW has low water content at 38.5%. If my Rx is -6.00, 8.30 BC, and 13.8 DIA, which lenses should I consider trying (obviously I'll try them at Dr's office but want to be prepared to run options by him)??

Btw, initial research shows Purevision, Air Optix O2 Optix Custom (32% water), and Air Optix night/day (24% water) as possible options. I know I won't know what will be best until I try them on, but would appreciate recommendations- thanks in advance for any recommendations and info!

It looks to me like you've already got four different lenses to ask your eye doctor about. Your initial research looks pretty good to me.

Discovered today that the 'O2 Optix Custom' aren't made w/ both 8.3 BC and 13.8 or 14 DIA, only in 13.1 DIA and larger dia (13.2 & 14.8) and day/night Optix are w/ 8.4 BC which i don't think would work. Seems only contact out there with a 8.3 BC and 13.8/14 DIA and low water content is the Purevision.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated (maybe there's some I haven't found yet that some of you are aware of).

Thanks in advance!!! Very appreciated!!

Let's see, Acuvue 2 lenses come in an 8.3 base curve and a 14.0 diameter . . . and that seems to be about it. I did a search on Lens 101 for contacts with those parameters and got 100 results. However, upon closer examination, I only found the one brand that had both numbers correct. Then I did a general Google search and found a lot of stuff, but nothing really useful in answering your question.
I'm sure there's got to be more than one lens that has an 8.3 base curve and a diameter of 14, but I didn't find it in my search. It's a start I guess.

Update:

As mentioned above been wearing CSI FW (by Cilbavision) for 20+ yrs and found out they were discontinued in Jan so need to find new lense.

Went to OD this wk and tried Oasis and immediately developed dizzyness and head headache and not good vision in one of my eyes. He then had me try Air Optix Night and Day and had similar headache/dizzyness (saw 20/15 w/ them) but he told me to try them for rest of day and next day. On day #2 immedtiately had same symptoms upon putting them in in AM and got worse during day including some double vision and dryness later in day. By 4pm took them out. Tried PureVision 2 and felt similar. Now know can't wear silicone lenses.

Tried Coopervision XC and both Softens 38 both today and they didn't fit and Softlens dried up almost immediately. Have avg tear wetness in eyes (been tested). Tried Acuvue 2 and they felt better but won't know until I get correct pwr for one eye (waiting to get -6.00D one eye b/c they only had -5.75D)...hoping to try them this weekend as test run...wearing glasses to rest eyes today...OD also ordered Vertex, Biomedics 55 and Frequency for me to try next wk. Have heard Hydrasoft Custom Sphere are good.

Anyone successfully switched to above non-silicone from CSI FW (also a non-silicone lense)?

Thanks in advance for any help!

I found a great site for finding contact lenses based on things like material and base curve. It's at http://www.66-contact-lenses.com/search/
