Default An Anti-Reflective Coating For Cutter & Buck Tournament Sunglasses

It can be a bit distracting when you're wearing sunglasses with the sun behind you because the back of the lenses can reflect that bright sun right into your eyes, making the sunglasses pretty much useless. Can you get an anti-reflective coating applied to these Cutter and Buck Sunglasses? Would it be a good idea to also put the coating on the outsides of the lenses?

Well, Nutradude, I tried, but all I came up with was the statement that "some" Cutter and Buck sunglasses have anti-reflective coatings, but none of the sites would say which ones had it.

Wow, so they were sort of teasing you, weren't they? That's not very nice.

Tell me about it. I guess you could say that they are teasing everyone else on Lens 101 who are visiting this thread. Not nice indeed.

Default Cut From the Same Cloth

Thanks for trying everyone.
It's funny, but when you do a search for "anti-reflective coating Cutter and Buck sunglasses" quite often you get exactly the same result: "All of the sport styles have polarized lenses, some with anti-reflective backside coating to reduce glare." It's like they're all copying from the same master page or something. They probably are. They might all belong to the same parent company. At any rate, that's all the information I could find regarding the anti-reflective properties of these sunglasses.

I tried again and got some slightly more useful information. I left out the word "coating" and searched for "anti-reflective Cutter and Buck sunglasses." I thought I came up with few specific names, but they turned out to be eyeglasses. Could this mean that there are no Cutter and Buck sunglasses with anti-reflective lenses?

It may be the case, but I think we should let Cutter and Buck know that they're not being very helpful.

To contact their Customer Service department call them at 1-800-713-7810 or shoot them an E-mail: help@cutterbuck.com

If you do call, please let us know what happened, okay?
