It can be a bit distracting when you're wearing sunglasses with the sun behind you because the back of the lenses can reflect that bright sun right into your eyes, making the sunglasses pretty much useless. Can you get an anti-reflective coating applied to these Cutter and Buck Sunglasses? Would it be a good idea to also put the coating on the outsides of the lenses?

Wow, so they were sort of teasing you, weren't they? That's not very nice.

Tell me about it. I guess you could say that they are teasing everyone else on Lens 101 who are visiting this thread. Not nice indeed.

Thanks for trying everyone.
It's funny, but when you do a search for "anti-reflective coating Cutter and Buck sunglasses" quite often you get exactly the same result: "All of the sport styles have polarized lenses, some with anti-reflective backside coating to reduce glare." It's like they're all copying from the same master page or something. They probably are. They might all belong to the same parent company. At any rate, that's all the information I could find regarding the anti-reflective properties of these sunglasses. |
