Is there anything wrong with wearing two week disposable lenses at home, and then wearing daily lenses on the road so I don't have to pack any cleaning solution? Assuming all pairs of contacts fit properly and comfortably, is there any problem with this practice?

I don't see a problem with this practice. Just make sure you remember which is which and clean the two week disposable contacts as directed and discard the daily contacts each night. I don't know how much traveling you do, but be careful that your "travel" contacts will not expire before your trip if you keep a box in the trunk or have some leftovers or whatever.
