Well, I'm not sure that they make you look like an animae character, but they do look good.

Of course, you're one of those guys who would probably look good in the nerdiest glasses ever created.

The contact lens looks good in you. I didn't know that the daily disposable contacts are available in different colors. It is really interesting. Do you still put that on whenever you sleeps?

Default Question for Eltonlani

Hi eltonlani,

You've got quite a few pictures posted in Lens 101 with your various colored lenses and I need to ask . . . do you wear shirts, ever?

No reply from our Hawaiian friend Eltonlani. Man. I can't imagine living in Hawaii. Even Thomas Magnum often referred to it as "paradise" in Magnum PI.

Keep on posting from Paradise, Eltonlani.

Default Contact Lenses With Rays

Those contacts look nice, Eltonloni, but on that one close up your eyes look dark gray with light gray "rays" coming out. It looks kind of like a picture of the sun. The "rays" are very evenly spaced and each one looks identical to all the others. It looks kind of artificial. When you're not so close to the camera they look a little better.

I think I have to agree with HVAC. The lenses don't look as good up close as they do at a distance. That's not necessarily a bad thing. When you're out and about in public, most people will probably look at you from a "safe" distance where the contacts look great.

"I know what you're thinking, and you're right . . . "
Remember that narration that came in almost every episode?

Tom Selleck doesn't have the "big eyed Asian look" that started this thread, does he? I don't think he even wears contacts.

Don't worry about your contacts looking bad, Eltonloni. They won't. They can't.

Meanwhile, you still haven't told us on the Continent how much we'd hate actually living in Hawaii day after day.

To be honest with you, eltonlani, close up the contacts look kinda fake. I mean, you're a handsome guy, even without contacts, but the ones you're modeling have an unnatural pattern. Like HVAC said, those "rays" don't look quite right up close. I'm sure the idea of getting those contacts has something to do with getting close to certain people, right? Wink wink, nudge, nudge, know what I mean?

Really? I didn't realize that. It doesn't surprise me all that much. Do you have any specific names of actors or actresses who wear color contacts?

Default Big Eye Circle Lenses :)

I recently got my first pair of circle lenses and decided to go with a dark blue since my natural eye color is blue/gray and not dark brown so the color around my pupil was sure to show akwardly if I didnt. I was very pleased by the fit and color of the lenses and they did make my eyes look HUGE.

The first pictures are the Deep Blue circle lenses and the last is my natural eye and iris color.

"Natural Colors"? I'm not sure I'm familiar with them. I did a search for "Pacific Blue" on Lens.com and all I found were FreshLook Dimensions by Wesley Jessen.

Awww! How could you!

I guess I should say I'm sorry that Lens.com let you down, but I don't suppose they can sell every contact lens known to mankind.

In the words of that great philosopher Steven Wright: "You can't have everything `cause . . . where would you put it?"

When in doubt, pull out the Steven Wright one-liners. "On the other hand, you have different fingers."

Perhaps Eltonlani is not willing to show us his glasses. That's understandable. That's why contact lenses were invented, isn't it?

I see reflections from the frames, but not from the lenses. That doesn't mean there's no lenses in Mr. Depp's glasses. There are anti-glare coatings you can get for glasses.

According to Yahoo Answers: He needs a prescription, but not a very strong one. He doesn't need to wear glasses all the time, but he does because he likes the way it looks.

That's Yahoo Answers for you. You can get answers to your questions, but there's no guarantee that they're going to be good ones.

Unlike Lens 101, of course.
