Default It's Easy With Lens Eze and Durasoft 3 Optifit Toric UV

Is there anybody out there in TV Land who uses or has used the Lens Eze tool to work with your Durasoft 3 Optifit Toric UV (Whew!) contact lenses? Can you use this tool to actually insert the contact lens into your eye, or is it just for picking them up and placing them on your fingertip so you can insert them that way?

Hi Englishteacer1.

This tool is described on line as having a "pliable inserter cup [to hold] thin lenses in correct shape; prevents thick lenses from falling. Positive tweezer-like action."

I see how the cup can hold a contact lens, but I don't know what that "tweezer-like action" is about. Maybe you can choose which way to insert your contacts?

Hello Rose.

I wish I knew the answer to your question, but I have some questions of my own. Hopefully someone who uses one of these will come along and answer. That or someone who uses these things.

It looks like the cup is for putting them in, and the tweezers are for taking lenses out?

Good news. I found a page with a YouTube video where a cute Filipino girl with a red bow in her hair and a giant heart pendant demonstrates how to use this gizmo.

You're right about the cup being used to insert the lens and the tweezers to pluck them out. It looks like the girl who is demonstrating this device needs a little more practice, though. She seems to flinch a lot.

Thanks for including the link to that video, Delta88. I've seen that device before, but this is the first time I've ever seen someone in the act of using one.

It looks like that video has been removed from that website. They still have written instructions though, telling how to insert the lenses.
