I just read another crazy website that said that if you don't take your contacts out often enough your eyes will "grow over" your contacts.
We all know this is just one of those urban legends. (Except maybe the guy who issued the warning, although he may just be pretending to be an idiot.) Still, many of these are based on a grain of truth. What happens if you leave your Encore Torics in for months? Do they eyes react in some way that may make people believe that they're growing over their contacts? |

The membranes of your eyes may attach themselves to the lenses if you leave them in for days or weeks...it isn't a healthy practice, I'd hate to see anyone experience that. It is best to take them out daily, and wash them either every day or a few times a week. I learned that washing them every day is best.
