I currently use the Encore Toric contact lens but after reading details on Acuvue toric, the Acuvue toric seems "better". Is it really a difference worth paying for? Is one brand better than the other? Out of all the companies that make toric lenses, is there one thats recommended?

contact lenses vary by manufacturing style (spin cast, molded, lathe cut) and each one can cause the lens to fit a certain way, many have differing water contents. There are so many facters that go into lens design and fitting. Thats why a Dr. prescribes them. Just pop in or give him/her a call and see what they think. Acuvue may not be a good fit with your eyes physiology.
