Have you ever heard of the Four Hour Rule?
I bet you've heard of the Five Second Rule: "If you drop food on the floor, as long as you pick it up within five seconds, it's still safe to eat." The Four Hour Rule means that if you take your contacts out and want to put them back in without a good night's sleep in between, you must let them soak in solution for at least four hours. That's what I've heard, anyway, but if I'm going to take my contacts out for a short nap or something, I'd rather just open a new pair than wait the four hours. How about you? |
