This green and white thing you see here is a contact lens cleaning pad. I'm not sure how it works exactly, but I'm sure it comes with instructions. Would you be okay with cleaning your Expressions Accents with this, or would you be afraid that it might "clean" the tint right off?

Hi dda1960. I saw this and the cleaning pad looks interesting. I'm glad to know it doesn't damage color contacts. I'm still not clear how you actually use this thing. Do you still use it? Can you explain how you clean your contacts with it, please?

I saw this thing advertised in a catalog as a stand-alone item. As far as I know you have to buy it separately.

Thanks for your reply, dda1960. Do you still use this thing now that you're apparently not wearing the colored contacts any more?

Now it's time to sing along with Deepurple. Ready?

Smoooooke on the water.
Fire in the sky.

Okay, how many of you Internet savvy children are not familiar with that song

That one was one of their better ones; however, my favorite was HUSH
Hush, oh,
thought I heard her calling my name now.
Hush, hush, I need her loving,
but I'm not to blame now.
I got her early in the morning,
late in the ev'ning,
wow! ha, get down, come on.

Yeah, that was surely a "Blast from the Past". Thanks Deepurple!

I'm not familiar with that one, but it sounds like a slow song, except that last line.

Apart from the afore mentioned "Smoke on the Water" their lyrics were a bit . . . shall we say . . . not all that complex.

Now . . . where were we? Oh yeah. contact lenses and sunglasses and stuff.

Looks like no one's willing to own up to being to young to remember "Smoke on the Water" although if they could they probably could not name Deep Purple as the artists who wrote and performed the song.

They probably think Kylie Minogue came up with "The Locomotion."
