  1. #1

    Default Blurry why is that?

Yesterday i went to Dr and got my eye exam to get color contact,
I liked the expression color , gray , so she gave me a pair of trial, when i got home and used it, i see blurry , my vision is 20/20 i see prefect, so this was just for cosmetic when i go out to clubs or something.
i feel like, when i blink specially it gets worst.
    any suggestion?

It's hard to say from just a written description, cyberma007. The first thing that comes to my mind is that the pupil opening in your contacts is too small. Do you notice this blur when you're in a dimly-lit club and your pupils open up more?

This might be die to reason that the lens you used are not suitable for your vision. You must consult your eye doctor and replace them.

Default I have same problem with certain lenses

It might be the BC or diameter since there is such a range. Some of mine are 8.4-8.7 BC and 13.8 diameter-14.5! The ones that get the blurriest are my freshlooks Colorblends in sterling gray, or any color, in that brand except my one days. Also the Waicons are blurry. Only ones that aren't are expressions, any color and my old Illusions opaques by ciba is misty grey. Not sure of the reson but it's annoying when you can't see, especially driving at night. I have actually taken them out and thrown them out the window wile driving and put my glasses on. I hope the Soloticas and BnLs work out!

How did you get prescriptions for so many different diameters and base curves?

  9. #9

Default It's not that I get script for, it's the way the lenses come

There is a wide range of BCs and diameters. It's one of those things you really don't know what fits the best except through trial and error. My eye doctor usually has me try on a pair to see how fits, but sometimes she just orders for me, or approves if I order from lens.com. If I ever order internationally, I usual check the 14 diameter box and 8.6 since its pretty much normal middle range
