Fluoroperm 60 is a gas permeable contacts lens and yes, they generally can last a year if properly taken care of.

Of course, you should ask you eye doctor if you personally can wear them for a year and how often they need to be taken out and cleaned. Each person is a little different.

Good question. Thanks for asking.

I just take care of the contact lens need of my 3 daughter and 4 grandkids

I have alway use Boston Equalens but my lab don't handle it and more.

there suggest Folurperm 60 and then i look it up and was the one year thing.

I'm going to use Boston XO/2 from from now on.

Can I ask why you're not going to try Fluoroperm 60? They're in the same category as Boston Equalens, XO, and XO2 and here in Lens 101.

I use Boston lenses from the start of gas lenses.

I guess i've use all of them .

I have only and one to warp and one to have a flatter base curve.
I don't know any thing about Fluoroperm except what I read on the net. that they need replacing every year.

My girl and grand kiss were boston lens until the loose one which i would say is and average of 5 to 8 years.

I do have to clean them onece in a while expecially if the use hair spray.
