Default Focus Daily Contact Lens
I am not sure exactly what my prescription is but I'm wearing the Focus dailies lenses radius/diameter: (8.6/13.) I want to change to the Acuvue 2 (2 weekly replacement lenses) but the only sizes they do them in are radius/diameter: (8.3/14.0) and (8.7/14.0) I'd rather not go to the opticians to have a new fitting even though I know I should, but what size in the Acuvue 2 would be recommended to me? Is it such a big problem if the diameter and radius aren't exactly the same as prescribed?

In the past I made a stupid decision of deciding for myself which radius/diameter was better for me and ended up getting some eye problems that ended up costing me a ton more cash in doctor visits to fix than just a simple eye exam fee to get a new lens fit.

This is something that you should discuss with your eye doc. He/She will ultimately decide which lens radius/diameter is better for you. Don't make the decision yourself...
