Thread: Focus Soft Colors VS Acuvue Enhancers

Question Focus Soft Colors VS Acuvue Enhancers

So both lens design looks the same but is the color the EXACT the same as well or no? i know they both have blue, aqua and green and both recommended for light eyes only BUT could one of these brands have lighter colors that show on hazel (green-light brown) eyes?

Well, I can't answer your question exactly, but I can tell you that my eyes are the same color as yours, hazel/green/light brown, and although I haven't yet tried the Focus Softcolors, I have tried both the Acuvue 2 Enchancers (which have recently been discontinued and are in short supply) and the Freshlook Dimensions Enhancers. They both did very little to lighten my eyes, but they did give me a more vibrant, more noticeable green. I especially like the way the Caribbean Aqua Freshlook Dimensions look (see below). The aqua tone gives it a nice, tealish sort of hue that I love. But...unless I'm in bright light or outdoors in sunlight, they are barely noticeable. They're a very good lens for outdoor activities, when opaque lenses might look rather fake. These are nearly undetectable. I do wish, though, that they had allover color (no pupil hole) or at least a smaller and feathered pupil hole, for better blending.

Hopefully, your eye doc can get you samples of both of these lenses to help you make your decision.

    That's a really nice color. Kind of a bluish-green.

I have tried both Focus Softcolors and Acuvue 2 colors, they are the same as far as the color goes, but I feel that Focus lenses are more comfortable. I have hazel green eyes and I usually wear green or aqua enchancers. It does not change my eye color dramatically, in fact, it even makes my eyes look darker - like a dark green color. Hope it answers your questions.
